Biim Games's Forum Posts

  • I totally agree with you and I would like to see Construct to be taken more into consideration by studios, and not having proper games is what it's hindering it down. We can't blame the engine for that, but it's a lack of real developers.

Personally I have been experimenting many things with C2 and since I usually don't like much platformers, I create something different from the mass.

Here is what I have done either as game or template:

    Creepy Mahjong

A Mahjong with dark theme and forking levels. It has also an editor to create your own levels and share them with a secret code

    64x64 ill-fated

    The Outermost Bastion

Tower defense where you take direct control of the only tower in the game.

    FPS on Rails

First Person Shooter on Rail, template for C2/C3

    8-bit Shooter

Simple horizontal shooter Template for beginners.

I have other experiment and tests, but not in a really playable status like this pinball done during a Game Jam:

So, to conclude, with Construct you can really create anything in 2d, just need someone with skills and possibly funding to be able to support the time to develop a proper game.

    lol, sorry no.

thanks everyone for applying. This position is now filled!

Oh damn, I lost my chance to become rich!

Good luck with your game :-)

  • Your link is broken.

Does it count as feedback? :-D

  • Hi clouised,

Just to let you know, the forum doesn't support private messages.

About your request instead, I am interested to know more about the project.

I have already worked on educational games for some of my clients and I would be happy to talk about an eventual collaboration.

You can contact me through my website:

    https://biim.games

Once I will receive your mail I can share with you the educational games I have worked on.

    Thank you.

  • Thank you all. I am supervising the websites you have indicated to me and evaluating games to be purchased under a non-exclusive license. The construct.net/en/users/46383/biim proposal makes a lot of sense

if I buy an incomplete product, I should contact those who sold it to me for a final version.

As Lancifer said, you should contact them before buy, because many sellers aren't active or don't use anymore Construct because moved to other engine.

You can still engage another developer to add the part that is eventually missing.

  • Gastrite

In theory you should find what are you searching for here:

    scirra.com/store/games-with-source

However, the completeness of a project really depends on the person that has uploaded it. You might want to contact the developer to make sure about it.

If you cannot find anything that suits you, feel free to contact me. I will be happy to check your graphic and talk with you about your game idea. In case you need I can work for you to create the game as you like using C2.

You can check my website here for reference:

    https://biim.games

PS.: I have found your name quite funny. I guess you are Italian too :P

  • Just to be precise, better specify if you want local multiplayer or online.

Also what is your target platform?

  • Thanks Kyatric I have posted the idea in the appropriate category :-)

  • The Job offers and team requests are not moderated.

People using a different engine making job offers is ok, as long as it is clearly indicated in their post, as it is in this one.

For the beta testing of a game it doesn't matter the engine it was made with to be fair.

Kyatric I take this chance to ask you, wouldn't it be better to subdivide this forum topic in Jobs (paid) and Team Request/Collaboration (unpaid and revenue share)?

  • peerthy.s costs might depends on many factors as for example complexity, time restriction, skill required (only coding? or others like art and audio?)

You'd better specify as many info as possible otherwise you might get a roughly hourly rate but it might not be matching the real complexity of the project.

Also adding more details you avoid unnecessary mail exchange.

For example you want a multiplayer game but some people don't want/can't develop it or you want a game for Android and iOS and the developer isn't interested on working on them, etc.

  • Try Construct 3

  • Hi, I am available to help you and I have just sent a friendship request on Discord if you want to have a quick chat about what you need.

In the meantime you can check my website here:

  • Don't you think the layout needs improvement?

Hi teriastiles, thank you for taking time to check my website :)

Ss it applies to video games, there is always space for improvement. The thing is that at one point we have to let it go and move on something else and that's why I said 'finish'. I am aware that lots can be done, but at the moment I prefer to focus on video game development rather than have an amazing website.

My goal was to have a basic website where to keep all together the various links that every time I have to provide once someone asks me what I have done. I provide Scirra's website link, itch.io, Game Jolt, YouTube, Patreon and so on, definitely less professional than the current website since each one of the above mentioned website have more than one thing to see and some are duplicated among platforms.

Said that, I am happy to listen to any suggestion, I am writing them down and will apply the most suitable ones to next website update, that will not happen anytime soon :P

What would you suggest to improve? Can you be a bit more specific? What do you like and what you don't like? So I have a better clear idea about the meaning of layout improvement.

I know there are some little bugs depending on the browser used, but I hope that the browsers with issue will get some update so I can avoid to become crazy adjusting the website for everyone :D

Thank you again for your help and let me know your suggestions :-)

  • Hi GameMonks,

I have tried all your links, but no one of them works...

    Can you double check them?

    Thank you

  • Since I couldn't join the Global Game Jam, I have decided to 'finish' my website.
