  • Dunno where the boy has gone, but deadeye just came back from a break! I think it's been pretty much going on here! Many new members, and many posts! Construct is developing fast too!

    Ps. It's been like the hottest summer in many years here in sweden! My apartment is good at keeping the right temperature, but since we sweeds aren't spoiled with 30 degrees all the year around its hard to stay away from the beach!

  • Nice! I like little things like this! It gives you an arsenal of tools to use later in hard situations.

  • There seems to be a few problems with the forums here... You can't wiew profiles either still, and the members button just leads to the board index.

  • 1 use the objects action "set animation speed"

    2 Right klick in the animation toolbar and select "add new animation".

  • Oh happy day! An engine i built around v.0.85 now suddenly works exactly the way i wanted, thanks to the fixed family buggs!! I'm so happy i'm gona take a shower! Now the only thing missing for my old "Amazing Abdulah" to continue it's development is the "get force" action for physics, which i can feel in my toes that it's going to be added soon!

    edit: Oh, and i also need the ability to detect collisions between physics objects, then you'll soon have one more great game to play

  • Not sure what you're getting at here, but the Function object has a "Call function after delay" action. So if you want to play a sound 2 seconds after you press spacebar, you can call function "play sound" after 2000ms. And you definitely don't want to wait a number of ticks, otherwise your game becomes framerate dependent.

    Thanks! i've been looking for a way to do that! If it could be added later it would also be nice to have an action like that in the system object so you could just ad to an event -wait 2000ms.
