  • I know!!! Flame object deluxe Seriously though. I think Visualizer is great, since you can't really say what it is.

  • [quote:1tlm8u1e]Unlike my flame object

You created the flame object? Kisguri?? Anyways, GREAT work! Does it work for a small fireplace too? or does it have to be the whole background?

  • [quote:2d5ts7x2]What do you play? Out of interest.

I used to play some classical music back when i had a teacher, but i never really liked it. Now i mostly play by ear, and I've practised that so much now that i can play most songs right after i hear them. I also make my own music. Then i use a midi keyboard and make the music in Reason.

    Other facts:

    Age: 17

    Lives: Stockholm, Sweden

    length: 180 cm

    weight: 70 kg muscles

  • Awsome! how will the extension work? will it be much things to experiment with on your own, or just the flame and the spiral?

  • Sweet!

  • Right now i'm fine with just making what needs to be changed white and use "set colour filter", (you can make an object blink red with that) but it will probably come in handy some time in the future..

Edit: Wait.. what do you mean with "remove filter"? The filter is white by default, so just set it to white?

  • I play a lot of piano too! Mostly i'm practicing acrobatics, since i'm going to a cirkus scool. I also do a lot of card-manipulation. Last two weeks i've been spending about 50% of my awake time to watch that 70's show. I've allmost seen all seasons now! For the third time..

  • Sweet! But i still wonder why the cross is shown at the character, when it should be looped 1000 pixels forward..

  • I've allready posted this problem in a thread in the uploads forum, but it seemed a little missplaced so i figured i'd repost it here.

What i'm trying to achieve is simply a remake of Ashleys Perfect topdown shooter AI, ( posted here; the third frame in the .cap) but without the badass math and in a way that normal people can understand.

I've figured out exactly how to do it, and i've programmed it as it should be. Now i have just one problem. It doesn't work. Why? I don't know. So have a look at this .cap and read the comments and then tell me what you think is the problem. I've checked it so many times now that i'm starting to think it's not my fault. Some things (like the cross showing on the same position as the player) really indicates that a bug is hiding somewhere, but it might as well be a stupid mistake.

    Thank you for your time.

  • Aah! That would be nice! Btw. When i wrote 'friction, bounce, etc.' i didn't really know what i meant with etc. What more then that would be good to have?

  • It wouldn't make the program worse i guess.. but it's not really needed. I have a thousand things i would put higher on the list then rounded corners to the button object.

  • I don't know about allready programmed materials. It would be better to have values for friction, bounce etc.

  • oops.. sorry. Private variable. Well, i still think automaticly added variables would be the best. Then you don't even have to touch the private variables! You could just set their initial value with an event if you wanted to!

The best would be a popupp window asking "The value 'whatever' does not exist in this object. Do you want to add it?"

  • I ment the first one.

  • It's not supposed to work like it does. It's supposed to work like the perfect one. I realized that the code is very ugly, and i even use some objects that don't need to be there and so on. I'll post a new one that is commented and nicer. It still doesn't work like it should, but maybe someone can help me find the problem. Remember, this is just an IDEA! It doesn't work at all as it should.
