I agree. While I got around the problem of accidentally previewing on an 'objects' layout by giving it an event at the start of the layout to go to the layout I actually wanted to open (it's pretty much always the same layout), that method doesn't work for layouts that I actually want to have code.
My game, Shards, is currently at 35-85% (depending on the number of units/level objects)... on desktop. And it's nowhere near complete. I'm trying to optimize it as much as possible, but this is concerning me if the game is even viable in the way I imagined it.

Just because someone doesn't know how to fix something at the present time doesn't mean they will never manage to figure it out. That is a extremely common situation with software development. I can't tell you how many bugs my games have had that I've had no idea how to fix, but eventually found a way to fix anyway.
It gets most of the way through the installation, then when it gets to the c2 exe itself, it gives an error and bitdefender detects a virus.

The c2 version of my game loot pursuit is at 3,500 and the CC version is above 10,000. And yes, the CC version is an utter mess.
Oh, neat, they've finished 1.0 of the spec! I was wondering the same thing - not just for physics, but could it be used for stuff like particles (http://youtu.be/uSgOzh2XpN8) and crowd simulations (http://youtu.be/pqBSNAOsMDc)?
Also, since collisions so often are a cause of slowdown, could they be sped up in this manner as well?
