  • Haha, me too. I didn't think to resize. Ignore my request .

  • This is amazing, thank you rexrainbow

Any chance of adding descriptions of the plugins/behaviors? Maybe with a right click or in the info panel below when you click on it?

Even a link to the website url to view the plugin would be useful.

    Thanks.

  • Ahh, I have no knowledge on Intel XDK, sorry.

  • How are you creating the ios app?

  • My games no longer work when testing on Fire TV, so I am guessing it's related. I did email Ashley about it.

  • I think creating a curriculum is just going to come with experience in using Construct 2 and understanding how to teach it to people. Also, who you are teaching it too will determine your curriculum as well.

I do have future plans to make an Advance Platformer Tutorial, but it's a ways off as I have a lot on my plate right now.

Wish I could be more help, sorry.

  • I was actually going to start planning out a Curriculum as I want to start teaching local kids my son's age game design using C2. He is 9 years old.

I have nothing started yet however, sorry.

  • Problem Description

Non consistent object distance after collision.

    Attach a Capx

    Description of Capx

There are 5 moving bocks with the bullet behavior. There are walls on each side with the solid behavior. Using Bounce Off Solids, the distance between these blocks (which starts at 64px) changes as the collision happens. I have text boxes showing the distance between each block and the one closest too it. You can see this value changes as they bounce off the walls and change direction.

I have tried this without using bounce and changing the angle of motion of the bullet when it collides with the wall, same result.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Create an object with the bullet behavior and bounce off solids set to yes.
    • Copy and paste several of those objects and equal distance apart.
    • Add 2 solid walls to each side of the layout
    • Run and watch the distance between the objects get more and more off from the original distance.

    Observed Result

    Distance randomly changes after collision.

    Expected Result

The distance to stay the same.

  • Yeah, I wish they would bring it back. I asked Tom about it a year or so ago and it didn't sound like it would make a comeback .

  • Good podcast again guys. Keep it up.

ArcadEd you need to update the header message to include episode 7.

    Fixed

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I've been getting really good support from Mopub, I'm going to reach out to them after the holidays and see if I can crack why I only have 30-40 percent on interstitial as well.

  • I think what they are referring too is when the fullscreen ad loads, there is a moment where the user can click X button to close the ad before it fully loads.

  • I don't understand, why for web developers? That article isn't related to web, they use the wording "Pages" which could also mean layouts, screens, etc.

  • Found this on the Mopub forums today.
