    Still investigating: github.com/nwjs/nw.js/issues/7542

I really appreciate your hard work into this! I am getting a bit nervous as i am going to be releasing a game at the end of the month but i cannot address bugs without a working full screen to boot!

  • Has there been any luck with the fullscreen/ close function?

it seems with each update to C3 it breaks further and further.

I think i am going mad with these bugs lol

  • Oh wow, that was easy.

    Thank you HeadBang.

I've never played with the JS features, haven't even known they existed TBH. lol

  • Sorry, I am a bit new at this tactic of raw code input.

How abouts do i plug these lines of code into C3?

(i do apologize because you basically explained it already. but i just cant seem to wrap my head around it.)

  • That was it! wow that is really intrusive, Thank you so much for not only a quick reply but providing the exact solution to my problem.

i would have NEVER thought of that!

Thanks again dude and have a good one.

  • Problem Description

What i thought was originally a graphic card problem persists when i upgraded to a newer model, too clarify on different computers this does not happen.

(yes everything is up to date) basically when i see my game on chrome or even through the NW exporter the colors become off... They are the same colors when drawn or edited yet some become darker or lighter in game and i cannot get around it. this started to happen when i updated to a certain version of Construct 2 and it stayed present ever since.

the colors are easily seen by the floor tiles which are 74x74 and placed throughout the game.

  • Wow this is great! I cannot thank you enough for your help, somewhere on my end i have a few issues to sort out, but at least i have the knowledge on how to get it to work correctly.

Again thank you for taking the time helping me figure this out.

  • This is perfect thanks, i dont know why it was giving me problems!

however I came across another problem though i added animations for each action and they seem to argue with each other if i dont press into a specific direction. up,down, left, right, Exact.

The code basically looks like this.

Left analog - press left, play animation "run left"

Left analog - press right, play animation "run right"

etc etc, any idea what i can do about that?

  • i get the feeling no one actually use gamepad functions...

Referring to the construct manual i can have my player move up down left and right with the analog stick, but i cannot figure out how to get the character to move diagonally with turning the stick in between angles.

    Any idea?

  • Thank you 99Instances, This was EXACTLY what i was looking for, my original concept seemed to be the key but the angle (related to the sprite) was the problem.

If i could reward you for your awesomeness i would.

    Thanks again!!!

  • This is a heavily inspired way i use the movement for the monsters like i said i cant seem to get the animations to change depending on the direction of the chase!

  • thanks for the capx but thats not what im looking for, the player isnt the issue it is monsters that move on their own they also use the path finder property to move by themselves not an 8 movement default button key press.

i've added the extra bit of commands as you said however still does not work, what i should have said earlier is that the object does not actually rotate so as a result the angle is at a constant 0 even though it is moving at all sorts of angles trying to path find towards the player

  • Sounds like a easy problem to fix however i am programming a top down game similar to the

old zelda games and i have monsters that use the PATH properties to move around and seek out the player when the line of sight is active

the problem is i use animations to show what direction the monsters use instead of a rotation.

how can i have my monsters change animation when they are within certain angles of movement when using path finding?

an example that does not work

    Monster - is between 315 - 45 degrees = Set animation to - MoveRight
