  • Its not that the new features are causing bugs its just sometimes bug fixes can lead to unexpected bugs other places in the program. Plus there is no way to test every way possible that the code could be used someone will always use it in an unexpected way That is how you find and fix the bugs which is wha they have been trying to do. I usually wait a little while to see how the build is before I update my caps so it dose not cause problems for me.

    Plus all the devs Im sure do their best to fix as many bugs as possible before the next build but some of them are really hard to understand when people submit them and some of them are not bugs at all.

    I personally say now is the time to release any and all plugins while you are still in beta and have a good sized group of people to test with. What is the point of racing to 1.0 if all the features you want are not going to be in it?

  • This is quite possibly the best thing ever. I just set up an account for me and the two other guys I work with and We got so much done today. As soon as I save some thing they can see it. This is a must have for any group projects!

  • This is a good program for pixel art. its called graphics gale there is both a freeware and shareware version of it.

  • Or you could just make all your images the same size no matter what they are center the hotspot on all of them THEN crop them.

  • If Nintendo did, for some strange reason, decide to pick on the plugin then it would get your name out there at least and they would be seen as the bad guys and Scirra would get some publicity!

  • For those of you not familiar with the Dreamspark Program through Microsoft. It allows most students to get VS2008 for free. If your interested in plugin development this is a must have!

  • Sins of a Solar Empire was a 3d game as far as I know. I looked at a gameplay video and you can rotate around in 3d space... This indicates that it is more than likely a 3d game because it wouldn't make much sense to render out a whole bunch of sprites and transform them by hand when you could just do a 3d model and plop it in the engine and let the camera do the rest.

  • You can just go to the resources bar right click on the default icon under the Icon menu and hit edit.

  • Or use the is group enabled and disable/enable action under the system object.

  • I tried Changing the colors of the comments with the <font color = something></font> but it seems that the HTML font tag is broken with the renderer they have. Ill ask the devs if there is a way I can change the background color.
