  • What i try to do is explain what i want to myself. Start off small then build your way up. You can fake just about anything. If you can explain it to yourself then you can make it.

    The Bullet action is a good start for things to move downwards. You then need a condition to check to see if the player hit the right note. You can fake it multiple ways. Make games based on what you know.

    If you get stuck move on to another project that is less demanding. Start small.

  • I don't really get how to use the tag system in construct. Every time i put the name of the sound file i want to change it doesn't respond in game. Can't seem to get the volume control to work.

    Does anyone know how to control the volume in construct 2?

  • I am working on another game and I have a question on region size. I am making a platformer puzzle game and the region of view is too small. I want the player to see the whole map.

    I mean having a small field of view can work but I don't wanna put a lot of work into something for it not to work game play wise.

  • I recently had to ditch a project i was working on. It was a game purely based on sine movements. I thought it would go far but i realized there wasn't much game play going on. Had to resort to my backup plan which im currently working on with a couple of kids from the boys and girls club. Almost finished with it.

  • woot this works. Isfalling is great.

    lol while messing around I figured out how to make your player bounce when he jumps on a target.

    add another action for the player and set the platform vector y to -500 or what ever desired result you want.

  • So ive been messing around with construct for about 2- 3 weeks now and i decided to finally make a game. The game i made is called the legend of bloo. You control a cow that has 2 different laser beam eyes. 1 to save cows and the other to destroy meteors. How many cows can you save in 60 seconds?
