  • Those colors ... please change them! They are rather intense on the eyes

  • Most impressive (all examples.)

  • I would like to see this as well actually. It can wait until after beta though, at least.

  • I'm inclined to say two things here.

One, he may have gotten the idea of it being 3D capable from a few of the demonstrations (including the GTA-style one on the site.)

Two, I would hope you didn't advertise on a chan site unless it were one about technology and/or games. The kind of people that frequent them are more likely to do harm than good.

    Anyways, welcome!

  • Yea, Peggle is sort of that way ... but that almost makes it even more impressive, just in the fact it's that addictive even when so little changes across the "levels."

Sort of like how Chess is still fun ... well designed. We'll see if World of Goo has that same durability over time.

  • Hey now! It isn't Gamecube! It's ... Gamecube 1.5!

I thought I would link this new flash game here because I think he handled the wall jumping really well. I don't know if you can draw any inspiration from a flash game, but I'll post anyways!

  • Not of fan of the Wii. I feel they need a new system already to get it right. They're going to release Motion Plus which is what the system should have shipped with day one.

I'm not going to go into further reasons why, but just looking at a majority of whats available on Wii and how they use the features of the system, it's clear that Wii is a half-step to where it should be.

Just my opinion though, so don't jump me please

  • Peggle > This.

It needed to be said, sorry. I doo like goo too.

The Wii version can kiss my behind though.

  • That's a lot of features being described that don't appear to be actual features yet, hehe. Good luck getting all of that together without going nuts!

  • At least they didn't name him Cube like my aunts' friend named her son.

    Yes ... Cube.

  • Weird visual error with tiles shifting by 1 pixel causes gaps. I'm pretty certain that is a Construct issue though, right?

  • My only comment is - at least with the flame on his head, it will make a little more sense why water is pretty much lava in so many platformers. Gasp, I got wet! -1 Lives

  • Very cool, 'cept that it seems as if the vines need some anti-aliasing when the get very thin.

Add the Soften effect to Layer 1. That helps a lot.
