  • Ahhh i see, you combined them all to one sprite and just changed the animation frame for each color, very clever, considering they have the same properties. But if i were using, lets say 6 completely different shapes and sizes with different behaviors/variables on them, would i have to make a true event for the collision on each of the items, or is there a way to make a collide with a,b,c,d,e, or f then Set explode to true?

  • Wow that is perfect but i don't quite understand how you were able to apply it to all 3 types of blocks, I'm assuming it was using the loop command but would u mind explaining a little more please? that is great work!

  • Ive been trying all day but i cant seem to figure out how to make an object explode with force or impulse effecting the physics objects around the object exploding. I have multiple different objects i want effected if the cannonball is close enough to effect it. But i cant figure out how or where to direct the blast around the cannonball to a limited "Blast zone" so only the objects within ranged are effected.

  • Is there a way to add a bunch of events to groups when the events are already made outside of a group, besides dragging and dropping, because dragging and dropping does not seem to keep events in the right order and seems to take a lot of reorganizing. I made the mistake of not grouping a lot of events and now i want to group them just wanted to see if there was a way to select a bunch of events and group them at once to keep the order, a right click and add to group function would be nice.

  • I am looking to get the speed of an object with physics being shot out of a cannon and cant seem to work it out, here is a capx of the general idea, any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • Yes i can and thank you both for your help! Also just for your record it was not a blank screen all the animations and sprites were there, just the events were not working correctly.

  • thank you for your help also tom! Is this a reported bug with minify script though? or did i do something wrong?

  • Wow Ashley your the best, i did not try to disable minify script, i just did and exported and now its working great, so what could cause the problem with the minify script option? also no third party plug ins

    Vamp: it does the same thing locally and on dropbox also on another private ftp but in preview it works fine.

  • I do not want to post the capx unless i really have to because of the amount of custom artwork and the concept i plan to market. I could email or pm you personally if you would accept that.

  • I am not sure if this is the correct forum but i am having a problem exporting a project to html5 when i check the game in preview mode everything works as i want it to but when i export it and run the index.html it seems like more than half the events are not working. It should be as simple as just exporting and running right? am i missing any extra step?
