Spamming returns.....

What is this spam again? Could be at least non english chars banned in post titles?

That would be one fix that would work really well. No progress has been made with the forum since the last wave of attacks and there are a number of simple automatic measures that could be implemented to prevent this sort of thing.

Ironically some of the people doing the spamming have received some badges and have higher reps than many of those asking for genuine help in the forum....

I hope that this spam disaster ends quickly, for freedom!

What happened in the forum??

Some little poop stain configured a bot to spam the forums for a few hours.

heh.. look at the graph on the forum main page that shows the number of posts in the last 30 days, and it has skyrocketed the last day. The forum is flooded.
