An interesting and very challenging car game!.
  • Now the car is completely fooked... write off.

    She is OK though which is all I'm really worried about. My 2 year old daughter was in the car as well at the time, she is also fine... in fact, once they crashed she said "OOPS! CRASH!" and giggled. The extend of the injuries included a small bruise the size of a postage stamp on my wife's knee from where it hit the steering wheel... and that's it thankfully!

    It was a head on collision caused by the other driver. Police indicated he was at 100% fault and his insurance will cover all damage. Our car is unfortunately beyond repair so we will be collecting $5500.00 as a pay-out. His car (Nissan Skyline R34) was still drivable after the accident amazingly!

    Pictures of the mangled wreak to follow after the Mrs. goes to the yard and cleans out the car of our belongings.

    Drive safely now kiddies!

  • Wow! Lucky everyone's OK! How fast were they going?

    She was doing about 40kph, and he was doing about 30kph... but because it was head-on, that was like hitting a wall at 70kph (which is about 50mph?)

    The car is totally mangled... like fook-mangled. Oh well, at least we can go buy a much newer car now... probably go spend about $10,000-$12,000 and use the insurance money as a deposit. It's kind of funny because my wife has been on my back for a few weeks to ring the mechanic about the car because the steering box needed to be rebuilt as it was leaking fluid from the seals... don't need to spend that $600 now!

    Blessing in disguise I suppose?

  • Glad to hear that your wife and kid are unharmed. Well... she's close enough to unharmed for it to count, I suppose.

    Let this be a lesson to everyone... BUCKLE UP!

    That accident could have been awful if they both weren't.

  • Sorry to hear that

    I'm surprised you didn't get more of the value of the vehicle if it was beyond repair!

    Best wishes!

    Yeah it was only a 1986 Mazda 929 Execuative... not really worth very much... in fact we got a little more money back than what we have spent on the car since owning it... we only bought it for $600 lol, but just recently spent nearly $3000 on a new engine. Oh well... at least we came out on top!

  • I see. Well bonus money or not, that's still awful

    Agreed... it's not the most fun thing I can think of for killing time... however because everyone is OK, including the guy that caused the accident, then I suppose we look at the bright side of things. At lesat we can go get another car now with the money the insurance is going to pay out.

  • Good to hear everyone's okay, especially after a head-on. That's some scary stuff.

    Reminds me of last summer, there was a crazy accident in front of my apartment building where by some miracle nobody was hurt. Some chick drove her SUV through the front window of the apartment on the other side of my building. The front right bumper went through the living room wall and into the bedroom like two feet away from my neighbor's head. He was just sitting in his room playing GTA (of all things). I have some crazy pictures of it around here somewhere.

    Sure thing.

    Before the police and fire department arrived. The chick was still inside the SUV at this point.

    She'd had her drivers license less than a week. She mounted the curb, took out two trees and a wrought-iron stair railing to get to this point.

    <img src="http://xs226.xs.to/xs226/08154/bullseye298.jpg">

    A perfect fit. She couldn't have made a better shot if she'd been aiming for it. And the building's maintenance man was probably wondering if he was going to be the one to clean up the mess. Which he was.

    After the cops got her out but before the fire department got there to close off the place. You can see where the bumper had smashed through the wall... my neighbor's head was right on the other side of that.

    The chick driving said that for some reason her brakes just stopped working, and she panicked. Hmm...

    <img src="http://xs226.xs.to/xs226/08154/interior439.jpg">

    ... could be that car stereo wedged underneath the brake pedal. Just a guess. Also notice that the airbags didn't go off.

    Later she tried to change her story to say she was "run off the road by someone." My landlord took pretty much the same photos I did though, so her insurance company was probably all over that stereo jammed under the brakes.

    My neighbor, dazed and confused amongst the aftermath.

  • I.......... am stunned...... what the fooking hell..... that kind of takes the cake and the rest of the bakery with it. O.o

  • LOL deadeye, considering nobody got hurt, that's kinda hilarious

  • Haha he must been doing this
