Both game dev story & game dev tycoon is great.

I preferred Game Dev Story to Tycoon, myself.

Tycoon just got... kinda bleh, maybe to me I just liked the sprite graphics more.

Agree, Gamedev Tycoon is too random in my opinion (Doing a game with good values and get a great score, latest doing the same set up, getting good values but get really bad scores and get bankrupt)... Game Dev Story is much better.

Gamedev Tycoon is one of the most awesome games I've ever played!!!! I'm dreaming/hoping/wishing for a sequel sooooo much!! But I doubt we will ever get one...

Ubivis I want to disagree to you. I hate pixel art plus it bring me to the old days. whereas Game Dev tycoon has better graphics and well designed game.

Naji - I disagree with you

I loved Game Dev Story, and played it for hours on end. Game Dev Tycoon was just hard, and became boring. The best game I made was 5/10... and I went bankrupt. I'm sure it encourages multiple playthroughs... but I can't be bothered with it.

both are good games, but personally i prefer Game Dev Story.

I own both, but I really have to say that I love the classic art style of "Game Dev Story".
