Has anyone here made popular but low rated games? I have 1 MAJOR one called Flappy poo over 7 thousand plays with a rating of 1 star.

no offense, just joking, strange combination though, popular low rated game, must be the flappy name...

Not sure If I would call that popular... It's probably more like: "Ohh what is this?", Installing, playing, "Oh god, why?!", removing, rating 1*.

On the good side, if you have some Ads in that kind of game that's good for you.

On the bad side, you - as a developer - are increasing a bad reputation about yourself and stuff you do.

Putting ads on a game that only has one star and 7k views is the opposite of a good idea...

hehe yeah... But you put your ads to make some money, because you usually think your game is "the one" and best of all. In reality you end up very far from that

if you are new to development or have relatively low views (<50k) on your games, I really wouldn't bother putting ads in at all.

If your game's only purpose is to make money, you should probably not be making games... there is a lot easier ways to make money...
