Construct 0.98.9 released (stable)

The bug would leave families in the event wizard dialog even if you had removed the last object from that family, and could even be used to make a family appear twice in the event wizard dialog. Families in this state would crash if you double clicked them in the event wizard. Importing your application in to 0.98.9 does not automatically fix this if it has happened; however, I hear from other users there are workarounds to fix it if it has happened. If none of the families in your .cap crash when you click them in the event wizard dialog, you are OK.

If you have empty families as leftovers from the 0.98.8 family bug, the way to remove them is:

1) Open the affected project.

2) Add the problematic family to the object.

3) Remove the family from the same object.

4) Save, close and go back to Step 1 until all 'ghost' families are gone.

Whoa, I guess I just skated right by that bug . Glad there's a fix for it though.

It also won't happen in the first place in 0.98.9, so it won't happen again if you upgrade.

Wasn't "random" going to be 1-based, or was it decided that it was best left as it was?

I haven't checked arrays yet (I'm about to), but in general it looks like a good build.

I believe they're waiting to make random 1 based for when they implement the randomRange(a, b) expression.

I didn't keep up with the discussion in the other thread, and wasn't sure where it ended.

The arrays seem to be working fine in this build (all 1-based), so I can finally finish the random maze tutorial.

Any chance of getting the ability to actually resize the canvas in the next update, 4th time of asking

Liam, there are 129 open bugs, and we're all volunteers working in our spare time. We do things when we can.

I know mate its just my request seems to get ignored and it got closed on tracker.

I can't install this version of construct, installation has problems, haven't this happened to you? I have vista by the way.
