How do I make Escape a useable key inside my game?

I have rebindable controls inside my game and I want to change it so that you can change some of the controls to ESC without it going out of fullscreen each time

and also the same with tab tabbing out of the game

The solution to this is to not make it a useable key for anything other than what you just mentioned

Esc has to always exit fullscreen on the web due to security reasons.

for exports use this scrip to disable default keys like f11 for full screen, esc for exit full screen, f12 for debug, etc.
