    Since 3 weeks I was learn to use C2 and that is the product of that work. I hope you like it, i am working on more little projects for learn more actions and events to make a better game.

    All work is mine, graphics and animations. The sound FX and music are taken from old games.

    Thanks to all forum people for great tutorials and hepfull threads, that helps me so much.

    Here is the game. I recommend play it on Google Chrome, in another explorers the sound don?t work fine.

  • You are off to a great start!

    Try preloading the sounds using the Preload action. That may help them play sooner.

    (event)SYSTEM: ON START OF LAYOUT: (action) AUDIO : PRELOAD (sound file)

  • Yes, I have used preload in any sound FX, but except on Chrome, in others explorer the sound works really bad.

    Thanks for the advice and encourage me to keep doing things. I'm doing other different minigames to learn to do new things. I will publish that when are complete.

    I tried this the other day and I sucked.

    I just tried it again and...

    .. I really sucked.

    That means it is a great rendition of the games of yore.

    When things weren't just handed to you on a silver-plated platter.

  • Yes! I play games since Spectrum times, and that time of games were really a challenge. You must learn where is every enemy, every trap, with the technique of try and error.

    With this game I have tried to recreate that games of old years.

    Classic! I wrote my own TEXT adventures with my trusty C64 I purchased with snow shoveling scraps and grass-cutting winnings. I utilized SAM ( early TEXT to speech) and it was awesome. That is in the past and now to the present... C2 and my kids have placed embers on my dream fire. I will not give up until it is written... You were fairly warned...

  • Finally I maked a Final Boss 1, here is a image:

  • Finally I finish the game. The boss works well and added two languajes, english and spanish.

    really good game, the graphics and animations work really well. Love how the character moves; very cute.

    You should be pleased ; great game; can't believe its your first!. Think it will get a lot of attention on the arcade.

  • Thanks BluePhaze, I usually use Chrome and all goes fine, but after you advice me, I tried on Internet Explorer and I can see that issue. What explorer you use?

  • I fix the graphics issues in all levels and upload the new version fixed.

    The dungeon game goes slow, that week I don?t have much time, and the few moments I had prefer to finish the game of Pepo.

    By the way, I are making a lot of notes in paper to organize all the data and procedures. The game will use a lot of arrays and every object and character in the game will have a lot of properties.

    When I start with the programming, I want to have a solid script to keep things clear <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />
