  • Hey !

Good idea, but with Chrome and a 1680x1050 resolution it's like i don't see all the main page, the right side is cut !

  • Dang this is actually very interesting to me. I might try this with my art portfolio, that way I can show good resolution samples without people right clicking and downloading my art for distributing illegally. I normally use a watermark, but those are easy to photoshop out if someone is determined enough.

That might dissuade the casual ripper, but as easy as it is to open an image editor and change a few pixels, its even easier to open up the browsers cache, where the images are already on the would-be thief's computer.

  • Thanks for feedback! ^^

I think I can fix both black screen issue and this after a while *-*

  • Nicely done there, however, I have to agree, using canvas for a website is a no-no, take this advice from someone who's been doing web design and development for 5+ years ;)

However, like someone said on this thread, don't rule out the possibility to use canvas where it can be most powerful, someone suggested a gallery, you can build one of them pretty easily using canvas, or using C2.

What someone looks for on a webpage is how fluid the website is, all websites have to look professional, and whilst yours does, it still lacks basic input, like Tom said before, 'Copy & Paste' is a big factor, and also right click, not many people would right click on a website, unless they were to save an image or something else, but you can take this feature out with standard javascript anyway.

Anyhow, with that said, nice job on the website, and I spotted a little error for you ;) - When you cycle through the pages and go back to services, your text needs a little indentation from the left of the screen, here's a screenshot just to show you.

    Have fun!

  • Oh, well, thanks for the feedback!

Actually that info part has a hidden button, which is "Ugurcan Orcun" logo itself. Services button should be focus on the part starts with "Audio Design" I think i've calculated something wrong in there.

And so, as i bought my license, i should get this one back to it's feet!

  • Yeah, I think I've already say that, but your Webpage got problems on my 22" with Chrome. I don't see the entire page, the right was cut. And when I resize the browser the page become black.

I don't really think it was a good idea to do your Webpage with C2.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • It's a peculiar idea to use C2 to build, but graphically I think you can do much better than this very white version :)

    but still, nice catch :)

  • Kabraxis

Hi, how did you achieve the page scrolling?

is there any-chance I could have a look at the capx file?

I'm also trying to create a website in Construct 2 and your assistance would be a great help! :)

  • It's an old thread, but I noticed that the touch devices are not supported, for a website and nowadays, it is really unfortunate.

It's easy to add touch support. He probably just didn't think about it.

  • SoldjahBoy I know it is but it's still obviously not supported

  • perhaps there is room for some new catagories of content (bit like genre cross-overs and mash-ups in music) that take advantage of C2s excellent speed to publish and user-friendly door into the webGL world. I am very keen to experiment with the graphics and animation to see what could be done and feel very encouraged by everything that has been shared on this thread.

    Cheers!

  • Not to hijack this thread or anything, but since it's relevant... you can see the website I have just made for Monjava Coffee here in Australia, here: MONJAVA

This will show you some other applications for HTML5, mixed with some PHP and even a little bit of regular old HTML :)

  • septeven I don't understand what you mean. C2 comes with a touch object. How is it not supported? It's not even a third party plug in, it's built into the program.
