    I've been working hard on a game myself in C.0x, and I'd say I'm about 50% done.

    It's a four-level space ship flying game that is in some ways an homage to the Darius series by Taito (anyone ever play those?).

    Last night I spent a large chunk of time making the sprites of the enemies of the third level, and the "final boss," so to speak.

    He took quite a while to make, considering I made him basically pixel-by-pixel in MS Paint.

    I also did custom music for the entire game, which I can't post right now, but I will soon. It's a pretty bitchin' score.

    The "engine" is finished, and we will post a gameplay video later this week.

    I think it looks great. This is something I would see and actually considering buying on impulse on steam if the price were right. There aren't many games that look that good and interesting to be honest. the art is awesome, and I'm already looking forward to doing whatever that is with the ball or the balloon mode. Seriously, you do plan to put this on steam right?

    Lucid: Yes, we would love to put it on Steam, Impulse or Desura. The idea is to release the game in several chapters, like Sonic 4 or Rayman Origins, with a very reasonable price.

    , People don't just "have" artists. If you work seriously with construct, and get some things done to show off what you can do, people will be positive to collaborations. Hard part is, since construct is so easy to use, the artists can basically create the game themselves. If you do nothing but program in construct you have to have some serious creativity and skillz to show off in order to be interesting as far as i can tell.

    Nice 8/16 bit... but I hardly see the scanlines.

    If not tomorrow, than sometime in the weekend. We are still making some adjustments in the music.

    Don't put your expectations to high, it's just a very short teaser trailer showing only the first ability of Yokai, nothing impressive

    Unfortunately you're right, but i loved the idea because we are only two, and the several meanings the name can have...

  • Minitroid looks better every time I see it.

  • Trying to generate a random overworld map for a possible roguelike or something I don't know really. Will probably end up sitting on my hard drive and festering away.
