  • Awesome! I wish I could make graphics like some of you do.

    Beaverlicious its a new turn based 4X strategy game from Stardock and the successor of Galactic Civilizations II, one of the best 4X games I know (with great AI).

    I published a few updates today and made many improvements. More content will be added in the next few days.

    I made already some other apps with C2 like "ESORA" (ESO Research Assistant). C2 is not just great for games.

    (cool light effects). I don't know why you not fight to learn scripting. I tried Shiva3D but now i better learn leadwerks and maybe later shiva3D and/or unity 5.

    Looks pretty good man. My only crit is that the brain's movements are very rigid. Maybe try smoothing out the bobbing a bit?

    Well yeah I'm definitely considering jumping over to 3D engines for future projects, though for my first real attempt at game design, I believe it's much better to simply show up with a finished product, rather than spending 2 extra years in development time simply learning how to program. I'll tackle it eventually though...

    Right now i am building an autorunner-like game for mobile platforms as a testing purpose with changing levels and huge bosses -

    the actual intention is to finish my long-time turrican/metroid-like game project with these graphical/coding "preparations" one day

    I think i just need hints & tips whether this is the right direction i'm heading to stylewise (no pixel-art e.g., but hand-drawn)?

    There's tons of good stuff on here, but I really really like this for some reason...particularly that thing (???) in the background of the middle screenshot. Wow...good job.

    Pixel art is great and all, but frankly, I love hand-drawn/hand-animated stuff. I think you've got a great aesthetic going here already; I'd run with it.

  • Lots of great pixel art guys Any good programs to start with it? I´m a regular Photoshop user, but there maybe some better solutions?
