how do i make background scroll as player moves

learning basics and reading as everything as im going , but i sthere any links/info or youtube vids that show you have to have background scroll as player moves left or right.

i also would like to know how you attach a gun or bullet when you hit the fire button. making this mobile. hope someone can point me in right direction.

The scrolling effect can be achieved a couple of different ways. Personally for my game I decided to leave the background static and just have the player traverse it at a fixed speed and I added a camera on the player with a "scroll to" event.
