  • Is there a way to go full screen on Preview or do I have to save it first. It still looks like I'm looking at it on a browser. I want it from top to bottom to fill my screen.

  • It's actually already on the list at #113, but nothing is checked so maybe it's one that's too hard to port... I have so many games using that plugin. :(

  • Kyatric Understood, and I thank you for your time. I found a video that may help me. It's not exactly what I want but it will get the mechanics part of working and I can live with that. It actually goes with what you said so again thank you.

  • I'm NOT trying to store a score I'm trying to store a time, and since the Global Variable is set to 0 it keeps showing zero. My game is time-based so the faster you finish the level the better so I want to keep track of the time when the level ends so I can store how long it took each time but the faster time is stored over the slower time and saved in local storage and displayed in the Fastest time txt.

    I have my Game Time witch is tracked by -

    "Game Timer: "&Minutes&":"&zeropad(floor(Seconds),2)

    Which gives me this 0:00

    I feel like I'm bypassing the GV but I don't know how to send it there to store the GV value.

  • You can also set it to random, between 1 and 3 seconds so it does not look the same every time.

  • Is there a way to remove these files or any other file that stops the game from opening so I can at least open it to see if maybe they can be substituted with something else?

    I have a few games that I put a lot of work into that I would at least like to try to save if I can.

  • First off, thank you for taking the time to respond back.

    And I agree, it should not break it and when I say break I mean it moves things around and some off screen but it functions correctly and the shake then works perfectly.

    I will try your method and see if I can tweak it from there.

  • Is there another way to make the screen shake without the scroll-to behavior? My game really does not move far from the view area so that's not working for me. I can't do unbound scrolling it breaks my game completely, and I've tried the camera lerp to the player, all that stuff.

    If anyone knows another way I would appreciate it.

  • Here's the same, with gradual filling. metermask.reserve is an instance variable used to keep track of how much/long to fill up.

    > + System: metermask.Height > 0
    -> metermask: Set height to max(0,metermask.Height-0.05)
    
    + System: metermask.reserve > 0
    -> metermask: Set reserve to max(0,metermask.reserve-1)
    -> metermask: Set height to min(150,metermask.Height+1)
    
    + Touch: On any touch start
    -> metermask: Set reserve to metermask.reserve+25
    

    You can add stuff like setting the reserve to 0 if fuel gets maxed out, if that is your desired behavior. Alternatively, you can set the reserve to min(25,fuelmax-currentfuel), to take the smaller of either 25 or the difference between max fuel and current fuel to prevent overfilling.
