Game with complete Source-Code (Construct 3 / .c3p) + HTML5 Exported.
  • Hello everyone! Now I'm currently working on infinite runner game, made in retro style. I'm beginner in Construct 2, so I need some professional advices <img src="smileys/smiley17.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> .Ok, first of all, I have some ground image and some break image. I want to make like player will fall down and the game is over. But I need these breakes to be generated automatically and to be attached to the main ground image... As I know in example infinite runner preset there is no any kind of this... Thanx in advance for your help and feedback! <img src="smileys/smiley1.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • Did you take a look at the infinite runner example that comes with Construct 2?

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Yes, I did. But as I understand there is only one tipe of image, that Construct cuts down randomly to create breaks to let the player lose. If I'm not right then shame on me <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

  • I made a infinite runner once. I had a lot of work to create the level generation.

If you send me the capx maybe I can take a look.

  • Here is one I am currently working on. It's an infinite runner type of game with 4 layers of moving parts that transition over time. Not sure exactly what you are asking, but if there is something here, just ask and I can try and help on how I did it.

  • Thiago, thanx a lot but I don't want to you to make the hole work for me <img src="smileys/smiley9.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I think, that I will read tons of tutorials and manuals and try to do it by myself XD

ArcadEd, sweet game! <img src="smileys/smiley32.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> But I'm afraid its really different from I working on... So thanx for the reply)

  • I wouldn't do that. I would take a look and then maybe give you some hints. But sometimes is better do find your way to do what you gotta do.

  • I am also interested in this <img src="smileys/smiley2.gif" border="0" align="middle" /> I am planning to make a Mario type infinite runner after I finish my current project.

    ArcadEd

Nice demo. Your zombie looks like the ones form "Plants vs Zombies" <img src="smileys/smiley20.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    Very fun! Spriter?

  • AnD4D I used spriter to create the animations, but exported to PNG files.

Thanks. It's almost done, just finishing up the UI.

  • ArcadEd

Very cool. Not sure if glitch, but I got the the forest and stepped on a bear-trap. The zombie stopped, fell through the floor, then appeared on top again, and fell over backwards.

  • Thanks, I'm not sure what version is online at the moment, I'll make sure that has been fixed though.

  • ArcadEd

This is probably one of the HTML5 game with cool graphics that I played.

Very good. Are you planning to release on IOS/Android or just looking for game sponsors ?

I`m a bit worries about this news though

We probably need to up our animation and graphic quality in game.

  • Yes it will be on iOS/Android and Win8

That's pretty interesting news about Flash CC. Pretty cool actually.
