• Hi there! Recently, I faced with such a problem: when I do "Set canvas size" in my event sheet it enables pixel rounding and I can't find a way to turn it off! I tried to insert "Set pixel rounding off" after it, but it doesn't work. I'm working with retro style project, so this thing is critical for me. Anyone has any ideas how to deal with such a thing?

And how can I protect my game from being kidnapped by somebody else? I have so many questions! Could you please tell me something about it? Maybe there is a topic somewhere? And of course somebody of you have alredy done it(loaded his/her game to some app store)?

  • Hi! During making my game I found out this problem: the player collects some coins wile plaiyng the game in the main layout, next this coins must be send to another layout with a store and they must be shown with a text.

So when the player dies text in the another layout is set to the global variable "coins". But this doesn't work! It seems that the shop layout is always played from the beginning, so coins count is always ecuals to 0. Please help!(Maybe there is a trick to save this global variable some how?)

    Thanks in advance!

  • Thanks! I'll try using some variables with animations

  • Hi! I'm making an infinite runner game, so I decided to make some store with upgrades and visual skins for the player...But I have no idea of making skin system! I mean that I don't know how to make skin replace standart sprite when player chooses it, cos there is no button "replace sprite" )) I thought about using different animations for each skin but on the one object. I need some professional advice! Thanks in advance!

  • Hello guyz! During making my game I found such a question: how can I make nice looking transitions between my layouts? For example I have some menu layout and layout with a main game, so how can I make some transitions between them, like pixeling or may be some fading? Thanx in advanse!

  • I'll try to make some example scene to show you the problem ;)

  • Hah, guys, I don want to spoiler my project ... To say more, when I'm editing it it looks okey and when I launch the game - boom! Everything is bad again(

  • Hi! I'm making an endless runner retro style game and several days ago I noticed such a problem: my background image (resolution abot 300x100) is weardly smoothed by Construst, so it looks like streched or soaped.. The problem is not in image, cos when I place it as a sprite everything is okey. Any ideas how to fix that? Thanx in advance!

  • Thiago, thanx a lot but I don't want to you to make the hole work for me I think, that I will read tons of tutorials and manuals and try to do it by myself XD

ArcadEd, sweet game! But I'm afraid its really different from I working on... So thanx for the reply)

  • Yes, I did. But as I understand there is only one tipe of image, that Construct cuts down randomly to create breaks to let the player lose. If I'm not right then shame on me
