If any of this features are possible please tell me.

  • 1. You can set the layout's angle.

    2. That's mode7. An effect which can be used with C2.

    3. Functions have events. What would a function do without events?

    4. Not exactly sure what ya mean - animation frames can have different width/heights.

    5. Pretty sure there's a 3rd party raycaster plugin

    6. You can set sprite origin points in the editor

    7. Yeah, okay.

    8. Sure, why not.

  • 1. Can be done with shipped version of C2.

    2. Can be done using currently available free plugin.

    3. Can be done with shipped version of C2.

    4. I'm not sure exactly what you're referring to.

    5. Can be done using currently available free plugin.

    6. Can be done with shipped version of C2.

    7. I'm not sure that an integrated script editor would make workflow any faster.

    8. They offer discounts for both Steam and non-steam versions about once a year.

    spacedoubt you ninja'd me!

  • Just my opinion on some of your points:

    5. While that can be done with a 3rd party plugin, I see this feature requested many times. It would be nice to see it included.

    7. It wouldn't speed up the development process imho, but this is also something I'd love to see in the editor.

    1.send me turorial link

    2.send me turorial link

    3. i accidentally used key pressed, those don't work on functions.

    4.https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B0w8V ... 3R3bFcwVmc

6.but i want to change it while in the game, not on the editor.

  • 6 isn't likely to be changed as it would involve huge changes to the engine, including how things are rendered.

Workarounds would be as easy as adding a frame, or using some math for offset positioning.

  • Try Construct 3

  • 1. There's no tutorial.. Make an event. Click "Add action" then "System" then "Set layout angle"

    2. There's no tutorial.. Admittedly, the mode7 effect is quite difficult to use and I don't think anyone's really mastered it enough to write a whole tutorial on it..

Here you can find the effect and if you'll read through the thread, there are some useful examples people have made.

    3. Functions are triggers, as is "on key pressed". You can not use multiple triggers together.

    4. Not sure that picture is clarifying anything for me.. You just want to change the width or height? You can definitely do that.

    6. Hey, me too! ...but like newt said..

  • thx guys for the information. next time i should explore more construct 2
