Ashley, any news regarding the Wii U exporter?.
I have confirmation that Nintendo's web framework has been delivered to a few developers, have you been able to preview their framework or work with Nintendo on the planned C2 Wii U exporter...

Nope, we have repeatedly requested the SDK from them and repeatedly heard nothing back.

That's a bummer. Hopefully they unveil more of the WebFramework and get some information from Super Ubie Land's Nintendo contact around here.

My only conclusion is that Nintendo isn't responding do to the possiblity that Scirra doesn't make games. I know it's strange, but last I looked at there old Wii developer license. A company already needed to have a game under the belt before they would ever serious communications.

Though Scirra makes an engine wich I think is valid. They don't have any games and Nintendo might not be noticing that. This really sucks honestly. I hope the guy who is doing Super Ubi land can give them a kick in the backside :(

It's a pretty backwards conclusion for Nintendo to come to, since actual game authors using Construct 2 will probably have a tough time integrating by themselves. We write the engine so with access to the Web SDK could easily integrate it to the engine, since it's all our code, and it would save C2 game devs the trouble of doing it. We're totally willing to do this but Nintendo won't answer our requests.

Nintendo is new to this whole indie thing. Give it time, and if it does work out, I doubt Scirra would just let the cat out of the bag so soon without their ducks in order!
