  • It's going to depend on the user's connection speed. Couldn't you use a "On loader layout complete" event to make SURE the player doesn't play the game unless all assets are loaded?

  • It seems like something simple but I really don't understand the question... could you rephrase it? Maybe it's just me.

  • What do you mean you haven't been able to get off the floor? I think there is one thing I haven't made clear enough in the game : you can jump and shoot down to get to places you usually wouldn't at early levels.

    The game still needs balance and work in that sense + good AI, but I'm working on it :)

  • As it says, make sure your file Healthbar.png is somewhere. Did you rename it?

  • Simple and nice idea but... why is it so shaky?

  • I would recommend you set the "Spanwner" sprite to Invisible, so you only see it when you are editing your game and in no case (a bug? Who knows) the player can see it.

    I thought I'd introduce myself since I decided today that I'll be more active on the Construct 2 forums. I can't wait to see your projects and share mine!

  • I mostly test on my PC and my Chromebook to compare performance. I haven't done any Android projects but I will soon (I hope). When I do so I'll use a Nexus 4 and a Samsung Galaxy II.

  • Nice and fluid gameplay with simple graphics. Plays nice on the XBOX controller. There is a bug though, the enemies lack collision during the first moments of gameplay. Is that normal?

  • I will not comment the game on the visuals because they're not there yet, but I think you have some nice ideas going. You will need some better player control, though, but from what I can see this could be a pretty fun game!

    I can't wait to see more.

    I am here to share my latest game (still in early development, but you know, the urge to share is always huge...) Powerless!

    It has a leaderboard and Gamejolt integration. I'm still learning and doing my best, but I think it's coming along...

    Description

    Mixing early arcade game mechanics with modern, RPG-type elements, Powerless is meant to be a competitive game where players try to reach the highest score in a given time. After choosing between a Speed, Constitution or Strenght-based build, the player will have to collect gems and kills enemies to get that score going. You only get 5 minutes. Will you be #1? Controls AWSD to shoot ARROWS to move. M to MUTE.
