  • shinkan Yes. Sounds reasonable and simple. Nevertheless I'd like to have it - I have already tons of cropped animations with zero chance to redo them again.

  • Image editor doesn't need to have robust tools - it won't replace higly advanced external applications in the pipeline.

    However...

Additional option for ghosting frames would be nice - when 0 is a frame being edited, I would like to see -1 and +1 frame almost transparent to know where origin/image points are, compared to one being edited. Also it would be nice to see how image points in current animation relates to image points in other animation. This is crucial to maintain cohesion between two different animations played one after another.

I don't know how You guys are managing to place origin in two completely different animations with different poses - for me it's a trial - error approach.

  • Same bug here.

  • eli0s Will try the capx as soon as I get home. I'm very curious how You managed the lens flare mechanics/code.

  • I had a dynamic lens flare before it was cool

open this image in new tab to see the whole

eli0s online preview seems not working at the moment... cannot compare Your flare

  • Sound positioning on objects works upon audio properties. Try to experiment with "distance model" and "roll-off factor".

  • I use spritesheets all the time. It's much more convenient way of work for me than importing single pngs. I use GIMP and FUSE LAYERS plugin. The only thing I'm missing in Construct (my animations are heavy) is lack of "ghosting" between frames, so I could see the image point a frame after or before the current.

  • I'm running into the same issue. Even with 30fps overall performance isn't smooth.

  • Beaverlicious Thanks. I should be able to release a demo in a month or two.

  • What if I have a sprite 2048x2048 pixels and scale it up a little. Is memory footprint getting bigger then and what about exceeding size limit?

  • Egon Too bad you decided to give up on Egon... I know it's very hard to make game all by yourself (like I do) and manage all its aspects, but You had already a piece of something very, very good... I hope Your new projects will be as unique as Egon. Good luck!
