  • matrixreal here you go https://github.com/phoboslab/Ejecta/archive/master.zip Latest development build. same way you use Ejecta 1.5 <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

  • I can't disable webgl in construct for Ejecta. It reads it as enabled... although I use latest unstable build of Ejecta.

In terms of FPS, webgl is supposed to help you run your game faster, but there is a bug with spritefont on mobile, and it runs bigger spritefont texts awfully.

  • matrixreal Why is it bad? My game runs great, apart from the physics simulation which CocoonJS does better. But it's not essential.

On Ejecta, it starts faster, runs smoother overall, with better memory management, and it makes puppies all around the world happier... I call that a win

  • matrixreal Lazyloading, not loading EVERYTHING in the project in the first start of the app on Ejecta

Ashley That's good news Ashley, I thought I fucked up something. I'm going to use the BETA Ejecta to publish our BETA of the game, but later on I will use the final release if it's out in 2 months thanks

  • You can disable WebGL directly from CocoonJS app the mobile device itself btw.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • Sisyphus CocoonJS has terrible performance on my project without WebGL. It's also riddled with a slow startup because Ludei insist to load everything at startup. Might work for other people though.

  • Sisyphus WebGL is supported on Safari Chrome Firefox

, thanks for the idea, but it doesn't work in Ejecta unfortunately. I don't think that Construct 2 can tag a project to be exported as nonwebgl in Ejecta.

  • Just to confirm with someone knowledgeable...

Stable Ejecta release doesn't support lazyloading on testing or export, but the newest unstable build of ejecta (post 1.5) does right?

  • Problem Description

when importing a sub 0.2 second .wav (this might vary a bit), and when C2 converts it into m4a format for Ejecta and ipads and safari, it cuts out the beginning of the sound, or inserts just silence.

    Steps to Reproduce Bug

    • Get a sub 0.1 second audio wav
    • import into C2
    • Open with Ejecta or in Safari

    Observed Result

    No sound, or muffled sound

    Expected Result

    There to be a sound.

    Affected Browsers

    • Chrome: (NO)
    • FireFox: (NO)
    • iOS on Ejecta (YES)

    Operating System and Service Pack

Windows7 with parallels and OSX newest

    Construct 2 Version ID

    Release 175

  • I've got a spectre over me, and it's haunting me, and cursing my fingers

Ejecta doesn't support textbox unfortunately. So I can't use this.

But I learned something today! Thanks everyone

  • Allright, this has the potential to soothe all my pains or completely remove them. I will experiment with this. Thank you guys!

  • klkitchens unfortunately there is no transparent background on the textbox I can't integrate it into the game
