Thanks for the comment. Sadly unlikely to be more levels as I made this 9 years ago and no longer have a construct license.
I am working in Godot now and do have it in mind to make a Down 2 at some point.
Sorry but it's been years since I coded anything in construct, you should try asking these questions in the Construct forums where you'll find people who are more familiar with it.
Glad you liked it.
I'm afraid I cannot give a full answer to your question, it's been a long time.
Construct 2 does have collision detection, so the game engine does that bit for you. When you get a collision I think it gives you the normal so you set the gravity direction to be the opposite of that.
For circles though I do recall I had to do some tweaks to ensure gravity was always towards the centre of the circle while the player was in contact with it.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks Hurion.
Wow, hadn't realised it's been 7 1/2 years since I published this game. About time I got my finger out and made another game.
Well done, good to know it's still getting played :)
V2 now released, the only difference is that "X" and "Q" keys can also now be used to restart a level.
Hi, thanks again for the nice comments.
Sorry I do not have plans to make new levels for this just now.
I am working on a new game in Godot.
At some point in the (distant) future I may re-write this in some other engine, or even make a V2 (Further Down?).
As of this moment the new version is not working. Appears to be an issue with jquery-3.4.1.min.js not loading.
V1 still works so please use that.
I have posted a question on the forums, not sure when it is likely to be answered given this is a construct 2 game and that it is end of life.
Wow, thanks for the feedback, and sorry for the slow reply (I don`t seem to get notifications for some reason).
I`ll try and have a look at the esc key thing, but I just got a message saying construct 2 is end of life, so not sure about support here in the arcade.
Thanks, glad to see it`s still being played.
Thanks for the nice comments guys.
Hi all, I published this in the old Scirra Arcade but only just now spotted it had not made it into the new Scirra Arcade, so here it is, Enjoy!
