  • I have just pushed an update for the handpainted isometric tileset.

    It adds some variation for the snow, ice, lava and magma blocks. Aswell as some ore types to make games that have mining in them easier! (the pack is still 20% off for the next 40 hours btw)

    also you could do a checkers game now ;D

    The game was created for the Wowie Jam 2.0 and I barely missed the top 3. It was a great experience and I got alot of valuable and positive feedback! (The game now has almost 4k plays :O)

    I will add new packs in a similar style, and I hope that one day I will earn enough to pay for cat food with the assets:D (I really want to get a cat soon)

  • A new online store is planned that will be set on construct.net.

    For now the old store is still in place and still works. New items are still added by vendors on a regular basis.

    Tom is working on the website, and it takes time.

  • Hey, I wonder if the Scirra-Store is abandoned or being deprecated?

    The reasons for me thinking that are:

    -It's not part of the construct website

    -only a tiny link at the start of the c3 engine

    -the layout looks not up to date with the clean beautiful ui of the construct website

    -there is still a "buy Construct 2" banner

    As I am thinking about distributing assets through the store I would like some info about its future! Though I totally get that the engine is the main focus of the team.

    :D well, thats something I can't answer for you, I certainly wish they would ;)

    I always thought people decide what type of game they want to make and then look for asset, but I guess the other way around works too :D

    Hey, I'm currently creating an isometric tileset and wanted to ask if people are interested in assets like this?

    In case you are looking for isometric 2D images in this style, I would greatly appreciate an answer. Also I would love you to tell me if you think adding specific blocks could enhance this pack. I am still working on it, so alot of additional tiles are in the works!
