    Hi, thanks for the feedback!

It is a room, with max 4 players. Where each player should have a variable set to 1-4, but not the same value as anyone else. People can leave and join as they want, so it will always be new players joining, not the same ones. So not possible to assign according to index number.

I was more thinking about some easy Construct event solution, to just validate the variable for the existing sprites and assign the "free" variable value for the joining player. just a small 'for each'-loop I guess.

Haven't found it out yet though :)

I think it is a bit overkill to use some slot or property function in the photon framework for it. I will try some stuff..

  • sin and cos are trigonometric functions, used for angles

clamp is a function to compare a value to two thresholds.. in your case you will get 0 if your strength is under 0 or get 100 if you are over 100. in between you will get your strength... times 100.. sort of.

it is not possible for us to guess what self and a are in your particular case

  • My Instant Game: Cat Gunner: Super Force

I think your game is so cool! Do you do all your graphics yourself?

I can though say, that some effects you are using are not supported on iOS, so they will just be a strange noise. Also when I finished the first stage, the game got stuck while loading. So the only thing to do was to close it... :(

(Tested on iPhone 7, iOS 12.1.2 with Messenger 198)

  • This weekend I was trying to open some of my old games in C3 (made with C3), which I haven't touched for some months.

Some of them made Chrome/C3 to instantly crash when loading. ("Oh snap, something went wrong here!" or similar in your language). This prevented the console from showing what went wrong, since it totally broke down..

Then I tried clearing my cache and also update chrome (I was already at the latest version so no update was done). The projects still made Construct to crash when opening. (C3 is opening the game and everyting but just when it is populating the screen and the different tabs it just shuts down).

    Some other projects went fine.

I then looked into my Chrome versions, and it seems I got chrome v71 in december. And I havent opened these games since then. So I do not know when it started to crash. back in v70 or in v71. I beleive it worked fine for me in v69 or v68 at least. (all newer projects has been fine all the time)

Today I tried to open them on my company computer, also on Chrome v71 and the editor also crash instantly when I opened these projects. So it is not a computer specific issue)

Now I got really sad.. :(

But just now I opted in for the Dev channel of Chrome, so downloaded v73. Which I guess will be released in a couple of months. Now they opened just fine again! :D (such a relief!!)

Anyone else that have seen this or experienced any similar before?

71.0.3578.98 crashes my editor for some projects

    73.0.3673.0 is working fine again

Official release notes and latest official version: support.google.com/chrome/a/answer/7679408

Dev and Beta channel and bug fixes: chromereleases.googleblog.com

    Bug list: bugs.chromium.org/p/chromium/issues/list

Always many bugs and bug fixes, so hard to know which one messed it up for me, and which one that solved it again :)

  • Have you used the Facebook Plugin? You should not add that one if you are creating an Instant game.

Or are you trying to create an app using Facebook login, in that case you should not add Instant Game plugin.

  • you got some code from dop2000.

Have you created the leaderboards in the dashboard? And have you posted some scores, so you have something to fetch?

As said, you should see the error message in the console? Which error do you see?

  • Just look in the console what the error message says.

The functionality works fine, and is super easy to use. So you must have missed some detail

  • We gave you the solution last time you posted this question.

Why do you start a new account and ask the exact same thing?

  • You have already posted this issue/question.

  • Hi,

Before I dig into solving my issue I guess some of you already have a solution you can give me :)

In the example provided with the fishes, their "type" (color) is based on random() when they are created. All fishes are instances of the same object, the type is a variable which determines which animation it will use. so they get different colors.

But if I will make sure that every fish is different, lets say I have a room with four players, and I have four different fish types.

Which is the easiest way of choose the type based on which fishes that are already in the room.

I know some of you already have this set up, so I don't want to invent the wheel again :)
