The host moves fine, sees the peers correctly. When a peer moves, they get teleported to the host's position. Help?

I'm fairly new to the Multiplayer stuff.

Please post a working link to the capx project.

  • saying alot to say nothing , dude , the community asked for Linux and Mac they got what they want , who did tickle you or force you to use it on mobile ????

And they said , they will create a standalone version for windows , linux and mac.

In my case 2 hours each day in a bus , at least i can progress on my projects even 0.1% , it's always progress

dont be selfish and think about yourself

one last thing "swishmax" is dead because of HTML5 power which is not the case of scirra , The cloud , the web , HTML are the future

Christ, you are such a fanboy...

Also, how many backend video game users are still using Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8? Hasn't most of the world moved into some kind of tablet with its associated operating systems like Windows 10, so how can we continue using a product which isn't officially approved for what most of the world is using?

I still use Windows 7 on almost every machine I get/use and will continue to do so in the foreseeable future, if I build a PC I install a "stripped" version of Windows 7 because I still think it's better than any of the updated crap Microsoft has shat out over the years.

The world can keep updating into crap, i'm going to stay with what I like because it works best for me & I think this kind of thought is applied to most people who program, design, game dev etc.

Its called a campaign. The same strategy movie/tv/game companies use. Release multiple teaser trailers, then different cut full trailers before a the content launches. Its all about generating hype and exposure over time via press, social media etc.

The problem with this is there is no real hype because we don't really see anything new lol, we see C2 on a web browser & that's about it.. Oh that & a new yearly subscription model which the majority of the community dislikes.

    Buy.

Most people here who use & enjoy C2 are hobbyist, myself included. I will not pay a subscription fee for C3.

  • This is exactly what I was looking for thanks man this is great!

  • 32x32 ? or 16x16 ?

  • Set CSS style "cursor" to "none" will remove the system cursor when it is over the text box. To remove the scroll bar, set "Type" to "Text" in the c2 object properties.

Thanks for the reply, the "setCSS" worked for my cursor other than the textbox is still above the cursor which is strange since the I have the mouse on a layer above the Textbox, but for the scrollbar I have to have it set to "TextArea" for my chat to even function, is there any other way ?

Edit : Nevermind, I figured it out by using "SET CSS - overflow-y" with "hidden"

for anyone that might have the same issue.

  • So working on a small chat box and I cannot for the life of my figure out how to hide the mouse when over a text box, since I use a custom cursor it looks really ... Well odd.. it's the same for the scroll bar.

I have been working on trying to find a way to simply remove the scroll bar and to not display the regular mouse cursor when over a textbox but it might be beyond me lol, any help would be greatly appreciated :3

  • Been trying for a good while now to get multiplayer movement working using 16x16 grid movement with no luck, could anyone throw me a helping hand :3 I keep reading the real time multiplayer documentation over and over but no matter what I try to apply I just can't get it working. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_sad.gif" alt=":(" title="Sad">
