I explain it here! joeriridder.nl/posts/tag-camera
Hi! Put your Text object on a new layer, and set it's parallax to 0% x 0% and scale rate to 0%. That should keep it fixed to the same position when the camera changes! Hope that helps.
Surprisingly fun! I didn't like that it started immediately without warning. It's a lot to learn how to play the game and what your goal is while also playing it and trying to not fail. Once I knew how it worked though, it started to become fun. I expected it to be very easy, just collecting the closest next gem. But when I made a small mistake it would send me on an entire new path and I had to adjust my route super fast. It happened quite a lot actually and it felt like the core challenge to me. I enjoyed it! Visuals are very clear and it has some nice juice. Could use some coyote time. P.S. I did not know there were max bounces until I read your comments. Also I never used the dash, I didn't feel like I needed it at any time.
Most of them are at joeriri.itch.io , my Construct arcade games are at construct.net/en/users/170569/joeriri/games
Not really! But it's been on the shelf while I've been pursuing other things (I have made about 30 games since Tag haha). I've been working on it off and on and have committed converting it to C3, which is quite some work. I can't say when it'll be done.
Yes I may have made that one too hard :) Thank you!
It is the collider for each player (and has the platform behaviour). The coloured player sprites are a different object. They're seperated so I can squash/stretch the player sprites without the colliders deforming.
There is no source code of Tag up, and I'm not sure there will be in the future.
I recently wrote actually about how the camera in Tag works! It's explained here: joeriridder.nl/posts/tag-camera
Thank you! Very glad to hear it :)
I can't say yet! But I am working on it ;)
Thank you! It's a known issue. I'm going to fix it for the next update. Can't tell yet when that will be though.
That's unfortunate. Is there a way you can share your e-mail adress?
Thank you so much!
Thank you!
