    efinitely going to happen. I believe for now the C3 plugin sdk only supports global plugins.

  • Glad you got it worked out inkbug. And yes, you just have to take anything saved with a really old version of the plugin if it gets the error message. The most simple fix is to open the image editor and change the image size from 0x0 to 1x1. Save and reload, and it should work fine.

    I created the animation of a character with two versions, one with normal images and another with images in the normal map color scale. I created two separate scml files with the same animations, but I already explained, one with animation images and another as a mask for the nomal map. Using another test sprite, static png tested the normal map effect on C2 and works perfentiously. But by applying the same effect to the scml file, it does not work. How can I solve this problem?

    I was wondering if Spriter is able to base animations off of events yet? Fro example have a character aim at the mouse pointer.

    es, the Override Animation actions will let you override a specific property, or use 2 bone IK to an xy target on a two bone pair.

  • ffman22 sorry I thought I had already replied to this. It seems to be working for me.

    The quick test I did was:

    Every Tick - Set current time in animation to unlerp(viewportLeft(0),ViewportRight(0),Mouse.X(0)) ratio of total length.

    Then the left side of the screen is the beginning of the animation and the right side of the screen is the end, and wherever your mouse is in between is what the animation should play back at.

    • Fixed a bug where overrides would remain stuck even after stopping the override action.
  • hi. Sorry if my reply is too late to help. You should be able to export project to new size from the File menu, which will resize the sprites automatically (though not with the same quality as your manual resize), and then replace the files in the new project folder with your manually resized sprites.

    Have you set the animation bounding box for your animations in Spriter? (We only recently added this to our tutorial)

    Saving it after doing this will give the plugin the bounding box information it needs.

  • Probably not in the short term , but I will keep it in mind for a future update.

    • Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented objects (sprites, boxes, etc) from updating
  • I purchased Spriter 9. Can I upgrade to the latest release? I downloaded the current stable release "r10", but the zip file has the word 'free' in it. Am I eligible for upgrade?

    ou can. The free version and the pro version use the same exe. If you already have an older version of it activated on your PC, it should be activated already when you install the new version. If not, use the same serial key you had before.

  • Hi, thanks for the recent updates.

    I have a problem with my SCML object disappearing as soon as it gets outside of layout (during a layout zoom-in). To be more clear, it's the small scml box object which gets out of layout bounds, but my whole (much bigger) object which disappears, so it is very visible.

    Is there any solution to this?

    • Fixed a bug that would cause a javascript error when using the transitional old style version of the plugin (doesn't apply to most. If you have no idea what this means, it probably didn't/won't affect you)
    • Fixed a bug that would cause a javascript error when attempting to start a layout where scml objects had no scon or scml file set.

    BBaller1337 - so are you saying if scml returned negative width when it was set to mirror that would solve our issues? Or is it something more. If that's it, I'll see what I can do - I need to make sure that there aren't any unforeseen issues with changing that, but nothing immediately comes to mind.
