  • All objects that are placed on current layout - that is currently running, are loaded into a memory. Invisible Object placed on layout are simply not rendering. And if you don't know, there is a difference between changing objects opacity and changing objects visibility. You can refer to the manual for more information.

  • I don't think XDK will even work if you been able to find some latest release. If I remember it was a cloud service. So even if you could create new project and add all the plugins and stuff it still needed to upload all of it to intel servers and compile it. And that part is no longer available.

    Do we really need to wait another 8 more years to have those basic options be able to set by actions?

    It takes only few minutes to add it and it's a lot better then having yet another Text++++ plugin just to be able to set the Origin upon creation.

    For how many years people were saying that ALL properties that user can set/change in the editor should also be able to change and set in actions, especially for important objects like Text!

    Same goes to the "Bold and Italic" - why both of them are under "Set font face" action as one rollup?

    Can You share the original assets of those controllers, so our games can have same visual appearance that your player used to?

    And is there a specific ratio between game/controls area?

  • Well you can open a default template for that, but there are a bunch of other things that should have a preference.

    Collision polygons for example. I don't need it to guess the poly, until I need it to guess the poly.

    Or text objects, set to center, bla, bla, bla....

    But I can't really make my own template that's a thing. In C2 I could create a new project, set it up as i like, save it in C2\templates folder and add it to the startdlg.xml file. So every time I create a new project, the file I created, set and saved will always open, with everything already set for me.

    I can't do that in C3.

  • Could you add an option to be able to set default settings and properties for every new project?

    So you can set things like ID, author, email, Website, layout size, margins.... Every time I start new project I need to fill same information over and over again.

  • But I'm not asking about keyboard shortcuts. I know they exist and how to use them.

  • yeah... But I don't know. There's some mystical about pressing a button with the mouse

    Keyboard shortcuts are nice, but sometimes can be forgotten. In my opinion all important options or the ones you use constantly should have a proper button on the interface with easy access. Just so you know it's there and you can use it.

    That's why I don't like "Align" for example. It takes too much hustle just to center the object in the layout. It's a lot quicker to eyeball it then align it

    • Is there a way to set "Expression dictionary" to be opaque at all time?

    It's very frustrating to watch it constantly change transparency while you move your mouse around.

    • is there a way to keep the size of "Add action" window?

    I like to resize it so I can see all the possible (at least default) actions without scrolling around. Right now every time I want to add an action, for any kind of object, the "Add action" window shows up always in default size and i need to resize it manually.

    • Preview, debug.... button on main screen. Is it possible to make them all visible?

    There is only a "Preview layout" button and a little arrow to press on to show more options. It would be nice to be able to customize it to show more then one button.

    I understand that some of them might be actual feature requests, but I want to ask first.

  • Calm down boy. If that's the real bug then maybe some day some dev, not actually busy on C3 will fix it.

    You know about C3, right? And you know you spend that 70 € literally on abandonware, yes ?
