  • Closing as not a bug. The layout is about a quarter of the size of the viewport. Make the viewport size the same as the layout size and enable unbounded scrolling and it appears to work.

I know that this is a closed bug report but I wanted t know, how do you change the viewport size to the same as the layout size?

  • In the Google Developer Console :

YOUR LICENSE KEY FOR THIS APPLICATION

Base64-encoded RSA public key to include in your binary. Please remove any spaces.

    MI...........................................................................................

    ................................................................................................

It seems to be a specific license key for my google play app but I don't know what to do with this

and I don't also know how to use this for IAP for my app and finalize my apk and use this for anything

that is required and so on. In other words, what are the steps to Publish an app / apk?

Also how do I test IAP for googleplay app?

    Edit: This is solved, nevermind.

  • Well you're going to need a Google Play Developer Account once your game is ready to be tested and published as an APK. A Google Player Account cost $25. IAP for your game are added via the Google Play Developer Console and in order to set up IAP and sell virtual goods, you need merchant account. I've checked out the Philippines, and you're good to go with getting a Developer and Merchant Account set up. The country list is here that I checked: https://support.google.com/googleplay/a ... le/3539140

A Keyfile is needed to distinguish each application.

Awesome XD. I am confused about the IAP requirement to send my apk file when I did not even get to test my game and make a list of store products. I mean, How do I do this. Will I give them my apk first without signing the apk and without testing or licensing the app? How do I test my App in Google Play? or Test InAppPurchase? BTW what did Google Play mean by "Public License of App" or "Your License Key for this application" do I need to paste that code in my app, that wasn't in any tutorial I have found and don't even know how to put that in any app?

    Im sorry for asking so much but I really am confused and I don't wanna do something that I will regret. Thanks BTW <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy"> <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy"> <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_biggrin.gif" alt=":D" title="Very Happy">

  • , check the "layoutTransition1.2.2"

Thanks, but I think I don't know where that is? I tried searching google but can't find it.

  • Guys, Can you provide the steps needed in publishing in Android, Licensing App, Adding In-App Purchase in Android, Why need Key licensing? Thanks to anyone that helps

  • Hey I seem to arrive into a conflict when using the plugin. It happens during transition and the conflict is explained below.

For example. I have 2 buttons that can trigger an exit transition and when I press button1 I go into Exit - transition. But during transition if I press another button (button2) ( Because the other buttons are still visible and press able) the conflict starts and whenever I press a button in the layout I was transitioning into during the conflict. LayoutTransition is not working anymore. Is it possible to fix this or make a condition "Is transitioning"? Thanks Nice Plugin BTW.

  • Hi guys,

Hopefully this will be the last time i need help

I've created a game like a keepy uppie game and i've used intel xdk to build the game.

It's all great and well but when i test this on my smartphone the game is insanely slow.

I only have one physics object, a few layouts (start menu, game, gameover) and no more than 14 events.

Another game ivé created is running really fast

Does somebody know why this keepy uppie game is so slow?

Btw, i'm testing it on a samsung galaxy s3 mini

    Regards, Manny

You should export to cordova crosswalk android to improve performance and maintain convenient image size.

  • no but you can use google play email id to save data in your server for that user

You mean private and owned server? That's gonna suck for us who doesn't own one.

  • Can we save data in Googleplay? I have seen other Googleplay apps that can save their data in googleplay once they logged in and sync.

Can we do that Ashley ?

  • > yes you can. Look on the left side.

sorry. but its didnt help. the quallity get worse

No. Just leave it as linear. Sampling to "point" only applies for pixel arts. Did you try setting Fullscreen scaling in Configurations Settings to "High quality" ?

    > You can't do that unless you buy a license. But if you really want to make money out of a game that you made without license yet. You can export it to Tizen as Ashley said then if you make a $120 then you can purchase a license:

    > https://www.scirra.com/tutorials/669/ho ... t-to-tizen

    >

Why would that be allowed? Just because it's possible to export doesn't change the fact that it would be commercial use which is not allowed with the free version.

    Ashley said:

You can then submit the .wgt file to AppBackr who will then publish it to the Tizen store on your behalf. If your app meets certain quality conditions, you'll get some money just for submitting as well! Free edition users are also allowed to take advantage of this offer, as an exception to the general rule of not making money with the Free edition.

Ashley said that it is an exception. I suggest you read the link I provided.

  • Found an interesting article on Rock, Paper, Shotgun concerning several general rules of game design. I found them to be good and simple guidelines and certainly things to think about in any stage of the game-development process.

You can read the story here.

    My favorites:

    > DO let me flush the toilets and turn on the taps. Scenery, in any game of any genre, shouldn?t be painted on the walls. And so many games before have put in a nice toilet flushing noise. Since all games do insist in including a toilet, as well they should, then all games should include the splishy sploshy noise of flushing it.

DON'T leave diary entries by one person scattered over miles of corridors, buildings and countries. That?s not how a diary works. A diary tends to be all in one place. Most people, when journaling their lives, don?t tend to scribble it out on the nearest scrap of paper and then leave it wherever they wrote it. Because that would be utterly insane.
