  • Hi. Today I received a mail from http://huq.io/index.html . They offer a new way to earn money , they said that they are collecting where the users go shopping and We earn money $ from those collected information.

    • Is this a new way to earn money ? This is my first time I heard that we can earn money if user use our apps without poping ads. If it is true, can I believe on that site ? >.<
    • Is there other ways to earn money like above site ( user use or download apps and turn on the Analytics and we earn money from collecting user's data ) ? I saw a lot of people using Analytics plugins in their app, but I really don't know what purposes.

  • When I turn on "Force own textture", all images in that layer hide away , and no ways to see them visible on the screen withou turn off "Force own textture", it made me very difficult and uncomfortable to design things that layout. But it only happens some later time after using "Force own textture" layer, then I don't know when it happens to make an .capx to test, maybe it happens on some of cpu and driver.

    Please make feature that I can turn on and turn off "Force own textture" at the beginning of the layout if you can.

    And please don't ask me to give a .capx file because It might happens on some computers, not yours. And don't force me to file any bugs case and wait for some years. I made some reporting posts , but I never have any reasonable supporting and comments from ASHLEY.

  • After a few days testing ... I found the solution ... maybe work for you guys

    • Make images transparent on top and bottom in few pixels ( at least one pixel top and one pixel bottom ). That's it

  • I replaced 2 big sprites ( 512x128 ) by 1 tile_map 128x128 and 1 tile_map 256x256 . After build with Cocoon. My fps build using Tile_map is about 30-43 fps , slower than using 2 big sprites about 50-60 fps ...

    Do I need some tricks to use Tilemap ? Tilemap build should faster than using bigger sprites ...

  • Does anyone have experience with exporting for ios build with version of ios 7.x (iphone 4 ,ipad) ?

    • I tried to publish build with Cocoon.io Canvas+, it runs well on iphone 6+, ipad mini 3 with ios 9.x . But It is very slow on iphone 4 with ios 7.x (like 1-5 fps)
    • I tried to publish build with Intel XDK (CLI 5.1.1 worked, CLI 5.4.1 can't install on ios 7.x ) with both C2 r221 and beta r225 , it runs well on iphone 6+, ipad mini 3 with ios 9.x . But It is very slow on iphone 4 with ios 7.x (like 3-8 fps)

    Anyone have tricks or tips to make it runs well on ios 7.x ? Please help ! Thank you so much

  • Hi. Can you help me about this question please ? Does IOS app run on canvas+ better than intel xdk ? My app can't play on low Android devices and iphone 4S or lower. But I tried my game with Cocoon canvas+ in Android, it runs very well on low devices without heating up. But I dont have iphone 4 to test the app now. So can u help me with this question please ? Thank you so much !

  • I installed all the missing plugins which are warning. I double-checked all plugins still in the folder exporter of C2. And this is the second time I have this warning. I'm trying to reinstall C2 to fix it.

  • Thank Andy. Your links are very helpful. I will work more with Cocoon to get closer to plugins and Splash Screen. But I feel Unity has more reasonable and lower price than Cocoon which I can afford to pay for Unity any time. And my Unity game runs very smooth and no bugs with Unity Splash Screen inside the game.

    P/S: I owned a C2 license. I posted the image of my license. I'm ready to pay any reasonable price what should need for my games ^ ^

  • Hi. I tried to publish my Android mobile game using with CocoonIO Canvas+ in 2 days. These my opinions about Cocoonio, I never build successfully a Cocoon game in the past, now I gave it a try and very suprised about it. Please forgive me if I'm wrong because I'm very new with Cocoon features.

    *** First I give my good review about CocoonIO helped my games:

    • The Canvas+ runs very fast and no crash in my games which can't run on low devices if I builded them with Intel XDK.
    • There are a lot of interesting multiplayer Plugins as Googlplay Multiplayer and GameCenter Multiplayer ...
    • Easy to use in website Cocoon.io

    *** Then I have some suggest, please fix it :

    • Splash screen and the price are too high and unreasonable

    . The price to remove Cocoon splash screen is too too high, my game is published over 2 years but it can't earn $500 until now.

    . I'm very happy to keep the Cocoon splash screen, but there are too many bugs and black screen after plash screen (6-7 seconds in my game) becuase of this splash screen, and too many works to fix it run well on games. Too many people have this problem.

    => Please give us the very low one time charge for the subscription of Cocoon (about $100 / year and they have to one-time-pay more money if a project earned more than $5000 as C2 license ) to use full features of splash screen and there are no more bugs of Cocoon Splash screen or Splash screen.

    • Problems Compatible plugins of C2 and CocoonIO :

    . There are plugins made the published Cocoon game crashed (somtimes Facebook Connect in my game ) and Black screen (Cocoon plugins in C2 as Cocoon ads , Cocoon Canvas plus in my game. Always Blackscreen If I added these plugins in my game)

    . It's very difficult to find working plugins as Admob, IAP, Facebook Connect. In the future they need Multiplayers WebRTC as well (This feature has been voted on the top in the survey poll )

    => Please fix these popular plugins . I love using Cranberry plugins , because they are easy to use and popular. Or some sites guide us to use all these popular working stable plugins (Admob, IAP, Facebook Connect).

    • Uploading and publishing on Cocoon.io :

    . It's take too long for queuing and building

    . Everytime I update sources code, I have to set up everythings again (name of the game, versions, plugins ....)

    => Please fix it if people pay the subscription with a reasonable price I mentioned above.

    Thank you for reading and understanding. I would like to use Cocoonio to replace all my games if they can fix or improve these problems. ^ ^

  • AndreasR Please mention Ludei to implement Multiplayer Webrtc in ^ ^, one of my game doesn't work because of it. But I think that one is coming very soon in Cocoon Cheers
