check it our new page of judgement project.

this is our new official web page of the project, with updates, videos, social networks, demos and more.

Tried the demo and I like the character movements. Your facebook link that pops up after the demo does not work when I click it, I am using firfox browser. Also what is the attack button I could only run and jump.

Indeed, they are just lowpoly models. The cartoony look comes from the flat lighting I'm using for them. They're basically just textureless (aside from bumpmapping) lowpoly models without any smoothing, single light source + ambient light, and a fake rimlight created in the material and not the lighting setup. Really simple stuff. I just render their animations into seperate frames and import them into the game without any post-processing. Here's a picture inside 3ds Max for anyone curious.

Excellent idea you kept them low poly. That way if you target mobile devices in the future , you don't have trouble with performance.

I have had a different experience with ads, they work great as a real revenue source, in face, I have made much more with ads than with in app purchases or paid apps (I have tried them both extensively). I have gone almost totally to an ad only revenue model and it works great!!

These are the best and highest earning in my experience:

Iam assuming you work for appodeal because its impossible your making a ton of money when most developers have seen thier profits cut in half, not to mention a memory leak in the SDK of Appodeal. Iam not going back and forth with you next time I will contact Mods. This thread is to showcase great games and talk about how we can make them. Not trick people.

  • Thanks for the feedback guys I made some major improvements vs the 1st version. Now that the core of the gameplay is done Iam working on giving the players reasons to keep coming back to play.

You all are right in some of my free time I have used Clickteam after posting this post and have found the main problem in collisions as in Construct 2 you just add Solid behaviour but doing the same in Clickteam is real headache .but i have found animation editor is somehow more nice r than Construct 2 as it provides onion skinning .

Hi Iam working on a game right now its still in development. But I made a video demonstrating Construct2 being able to handle 25+ moving sprites onscreen with no lagging. This game would be impossible to make in multimedia fusion. Go take a look at the video to see what I mean

Construct2 is far more powerful its not even close.

  • It would be nice to have a fps counter in the demonstration videos and cpuutilisation to see how constrained the system is.

also the bomb power up could be something useful to have in store rather than using it automatically as it is obtained.

also I can imagine some ennemies not trying to get to earth but simply passing by to shoot freezing bullet to the player.

Thanks for the feedback.Because of the difficulty of the game with up to 25+ enemies onscreen I had to put the powerups in game instead of the shop. I could lessen the enemies but then it wouldn't demonstrate how powerful Construct2 is on mobile devices. Plus each nuclear bomb introduces the next wave.

My phone is 2 years old and the game runs fine without crashing, slowing down, or glitching. But if there was any problems I would have put an fps counter or something in place to see where the problem is. But since its running smoothly I didn't. Any phone 4 years or older Iam not trying to support.

Now Iam just working on the final stages of perfecting the game play and making it as addictive as possible.

Look guys I added a lot to the game and posted an updated video. New powerup, animations and new missions screen.

  • > Wow so even if you make a good amount of money with Construct 2 , you want to pay less. Just wait for the steam version to go on sale might be their response.

    >

I don't want to be rude but did you even read the whole thing?

To be honest I expected someone to post something like "Buy it you got the money!!!" but that is not the point of this topic and not really useful either.

Also the Steam versions are mostly not affected by any kind of sales but I don't want to start a discussion about that right now.

Just have them merge your account with the offline version. Send them the payment details and proof of purchase. Tell them you want the business version but you want to buy the offline version and have it credited to your account. They will work with you even though steam and offline versions are 2 separate products.

  • Wow so even if you make a good amount of money with Construct 2 , you want to pay less. Just wait for the steam version to go on sale might be their response.

  • Apfelguts Sorry I didn't see your reply I was gone for a while . Yes youtube video's are one of the ways you can increase your luck in getting your game out there to the masses.

  • Triforce and

tunepunk your 100% right on the mark!! His game actually is doing very well with ADs. The reason is because the type of game he made is not just a pickup and play but goals oriented game with many missions. That keeps users coming back for more, including myself.

You need to give players a reason they should come back to the game. Thats why instead of jumping in to make a game you have to think about what can your game feature to keep users coming back. Also means you have to learn the toughest parts of Construct2 which is the various save features. If you game has stuff like in game shop to upgrade your hero , missions screen with various missions, or in game achivements so people can unlock various achievements without internet connects. Basically you need to give the player alternate goals to complete in the game, that gets players hooked to keep playing and unlocking stuff within the game.

For example right now I been working on a game and added a missions section. In this section you have various missions to complete in the game to unlock the checkmarks. Stuff like how many enemies you defeated, total powerups collected in game, highscore etc. This will keep the players coming back because players always have the need to unlock everything in the game.

I know programming all types of various save features can be mind numbing. I found it tedious to do the missions screen but its a very important feature to keep players hooked. In the past I was lazy about it but I realized all these things add up to a great product.
