  • no, in first post example i set > on layout start> play sound, the sound is a like 10 seconds of stuttering sound (for me) are you using vista64?

    to me its the only connection i can make with the problem, "zeus" is also on vista64 and has same problem

  • look in the objectbar if there is a duplicate of player, you can click on the names and it will show a box where the object is

    topmenu > view-objectbar

    please supply capx file for better help, its also better to use dropbox for faster download

  • i see i works!, thankyou for the info!, not sure if there would be a better way of doing this, like if you make it global you can access the object in every layout or something... but anyway i can continue

  • the situation is like this:

    i first created a "mainlayout" 'game'

    then later on i created the array in seperate "editerlayout" 'editor'

    i worked everything out, everything works

    i included everything in the mainlayout and placed the editor'objects'

    this works except the arraycode,   then i made the array from editorlayout global still doesn't work

    Arima Wastrel well if thats the case, then you need a seperate array per layout? as i cant put the same array on mainlayout, it wont let me..., well i thought the arrayobject was global to begin with..

    +the same for layers,

    it will speed up workflow and lessen mistakes especially for layers where mistakes often happen, because its easy to create objects on layer "0" without thinking of the layerstructure, or when structure change..

  • im not 100% sure, but im making a leveleditor and everything works in the one layout, also everything works from the editor include in the other layout

    the one thing that not seems to work is my array, i put the array as global but no reaction

    could there be a bug where you create an array in one layout that the other layouts dont have control over it? im out of debugging methods   <img src="smileys/smiley5.gif" border="0" align="middle" />

    if you have a group "Split"

    enable "split" will be accepted as a group but will not run the group

  • Jason, i think its a chrome bug related to vista64 or vista in general, because other users report that all browsers are fine.

  • hi, thanx for replying so it has something to do with vista64 and (maybe vista in general?) in combination with chrome, will check this out further..

    as for low framerate in chrome, last week chrome decided to disable the GPU Accelerated Canvas 2D at default, no idea why but they did, you have to manually enable it, put this in url   chrome://flags/

    not sure why you getting good framerate in firefox tho, for me its really bad, especially physics, but i havent installed the construct webgl version, i rather wait a little

  • im having a hard time figuring this out, because i never used this string functions before...

    i want to loop thru this string and get every value in an array

    4|5654|8948|44|

    this i found out

    tokencount(varload,"|") - 1 = number of seperators

    find(varload, "|") = first part of the string before "|"

    but now how do i get to the next value of the seperator?

    ive seen some examples but i dont understand, can anybody explain how and how its works?

    if i know how to loop thru all these i should also be able to put then in an array i guess
