  • Dude, this looks amazing!

The sneak peek music really brought the game out, hope its a game track.

Good work with the graphics, and the gameplay looks killer so far. I'm glad to see more eye pleasing C2 games!

  • JohnnySix you got your reply from Ashley! Haha, and it was good news. Glad for that. I'll make the changes when he does.

Anyway, game has officially went past the 2,000 players mark, and I'm still waiting for news from GameJolt's competition!

  • Yup I see it :)

  • And this is all good news pointing to a future for multiplayer HTML5 gaming ;D?

I'm still quite shocked at how BrowserQuest has done it, but yet there are so many limitations preventing it.. I'm not a very tech saavy guy when it comes to networking, so I'm going to remain lost until someone explains it all in layman terms!

  • Since you are posting right here.

The answer to your question is probably.. right here.

I'm sure there are some good artists willing to take on a job right now.

You could also steal some artists from over at GMC, tell them you have a non-gamemaker game needing graphics. That'd turn some heads here xD

  • Great share!

Thanks! I love your Irrational Fear of Unicorns game by the way! Really entertaining

Thanks man, it was fun to make.

I'll be working on bigger, better things in future, and Super Ubi Land is always a nice role model for that.

  • If you deserve it, and people can see it, its not hard to get the money to buy a simple, affordable software like this. I've seen so many members, including myself, who have had their licenses sponsored or come to them through the engine or community itself.

  • 3D Objects with 2D or no collisions would be nice.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Good improvement!

Very noticeable difference. Ubi looks more vibrant now too!

  • Probably the interface? haha!

  • I'm going to presume not as much as a visible one, but definitely a little.

An invisible object still requires the game to keep track of it's location and of course the events and behaviors it has.

However, because it's not being rendered, it doesn't take up as much processing.

  • Awesome, so many people asking about how to do vertical platforms for too long.

It's finally not a problem. Amazing how with so many major features released with r100, Ash and Tom still manages to fit in so many of the smaller but just as useful features and fixes in.

  • But isn't the game just going to be stretched from a smaller resolution?

Has this been tested? I've only been trying my game on an iPad 2

  • For now, there are limits in the sense that for features like AI, you don't have plug and play behavior for them, you have to work around it and figure out how you want it done. There has always been a way for me, was just a matter of easy or very easy.

Maybe for now though I'd say multiplayer is quite unfeasible and of course no 3D graphics.
