  • Dane Good game! It's really like a co-ordination game, where you have to run backwards away from the mobs while you shoot and reload.

Nochek The movement is really hard, and you should have a timer bar for when the attack is going to shoot out, right now you have to estimate. You could also make it Space to charge and release to shoot it, would make it a much more fun game in my opinion.

  • Quaziblobs patent infringement!

    You are mistaken.

    Meatballs came before Quaziblobs :)

  • I really love the graphics, you're good!!

  • It looks good in terms of gameplay!

I can't say I love the graphics though..

  • That was surprisingly fun and hard.

It's simple, reminds me of something I'd play in a Warcraft 3 map!

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • Its located on the site HERE.

It doesn't come with the installer!

  • Use the Add force towards position action, and set it to the Object.X and Object.Y of the object you are dragging :)

  • I was wondering how to do this just the other day.

It's a feature easy to do with native EXE game makers like Game Maker.

For my game - My Irrational Fear of Unicorns, I wanted smooth movements but with 8-bit styled graphics, so I just had to scale my graphics all manually in C2.

  • I wouldn't want to wear a shirt like that to the airport if there's ever a Construct 4.

  • I look forward to using this in my projects..

It seems to run at an amazing frame rate!

Just wanted to add how I came into this topic thinking what the hell is a

    Meatball effect

  • The plugin from the demo was working within the confines of the plugin SDK. Ashley will be doing some Spriter specific stuff C2-side resulting in a Spriter plugin with much tighter integration with C2, and better workflow. In addition to this, Spriter objects will have all the preloading and compression power of Sprites.

This is exactly what I was hoping for, I'm going to pre-order the Pro Version as soon as I can. I'm really glad to see how successful Spriter is.

EDIT: Just wanted to add, I've tried spriter and what really wins me over is it's extreme simplicity, to the point where 5 minutes after I installed it, I was animating!

  • I'm registering on Reddit just to up vote it.

I really love what the educator said about C2. It touched me to see that a program we use for serious games can also be used on a level for people to just have fun!

  • Disable jump controls On Jump and enable them On Landing?

  • I really love the context of the game, and the storyline that you'd conjured up!

Though I do feel that the art style conflicted a little with the seriousness of the game, and a slightly taller, less roundish, cute character would somehow make the game more appealing overall.

It's a good start you have here, and I think you made a wise choice moving from RMVX all the way to C2.

    Good luck with the project!

  • Just wanted to bump to say how successful the game has been on the Arcade and how happy this makes me. The game has almost 7k views and it hasn't even been there for a month.

The GameJolt competition results are this Friday, and boy did they take a long time. But I just realized something funny and thought I'd mention it.

Why are the two Top Games on the arcade about Unicorns? KSLR
