    This may be a bug in construct 2 or a third party plugin or behavior - please report it to the developer following the bug report guidelines.

    I'm look for a developer to integrate the facebook game request feature to Construct 2: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/ga ... merequests

    This can be done with either a new plugin, or code built on top of the existing face book-plugin for C2, up to you. If there's an easier way to do this without a custom plugin, that's fine as well. This will be paid, but you can keep all the rights to the plugin and resell it.

  • I'm curious if google drive cloud save support is on the planned feature list for C3. If not, would a plugin be feasible? I think most users expect automatic cloud saves, so I guess another option is to use your own cloud solution tied to the users android ID. Are there any recommended services for this that would be easy to implement, or are most of you doing yourself?

  • I'm looking for an experienced artist to do background for my mobile game. I'll send you a demo of the game through PM.

    Game is set in an arcade and the background bordering the game is a front view arcade machine, it should feel very authentic and it is up to you to fit the style of the game. (sort of vector feeling)

  • Adding onto UI / UX, is the tabbed (pin button) ability gone? I don't see a way to tab windows to the side. Would like that feature to return.

    Stylistically, I think the tabs in C3 are way out of place and are kinda ugly and don't fit in with the theme at all. They shouldn't be rounded. Actually, almost nothing should be rounded in this sort of minimalistic UI. The grey rounded borders on interfaces should probably be removed.

    I'm not a fan of the new project and properties bar, it a has a lot more white space and ends up showing a lot less information in a lot more space. I have a lot of things going on and want to see as much data as possible without having to scroll around. A great solution to this would be a zoom in or zoom out.

    Additionally, I think the text a lot less sharp than what we had in C2. It doesn't feel as clean. The text in event sheets and some of the other places is still good but I wish we had that same font in places like the project bar.

    Kinda unrelated but I think Scirra should really consider using a service like https://www.uservoice.com/ to prioritize new features and bug fixes. Looking forward to seeing C3 grow.

    One other thing, It was a good choice to italicize event sheets, but that needs to be consistent, why aren't they italicized in the tab headers?

    Scirra stated in the past that they were making no exporters whatsoever. The backlash was because of that, since not only we thought there would be no exporters but you'd have to pay $99 a year for an in-browser engine.

    This is great news though, but still I'm waiting around to see how good it is. I feel like Scirra makes everything "thinking in the future" so I'm afraid their iOS/Android exporters won't work properly (or make the games slow on phones) for the first couple years.

    They said they weren't making native exporters. I don't recall them dismissing embedded wrappers.

  • I've heard different information - it is currently possible to publish to Xbox One via the UWP export, but it's not particularly easy. We're working to try and make it easier.

    That was going to be my follow-up question. Not sure if everything would translate over correctly so you'd probably need someone to patch up a lot of the holes there but glad to hear you are working on it.

  • Thanks for posting, this was meant to be a feature (stops lots of consecutive posts). Understand it's frustrating for now. Arcade is due overhaul and this will be addressed.

    Glad to know you plan on updating it. Any estimates when, or will we hear more about this in C3 updates?
