    I am trying to make a platformer. Whenever I push run game the character stays on top of the tile map like normal. However, whenever I run my game on mobile specifically safari, the platforms work but the collisions are off by one full platform. I think it's a bug.

    Has anybody experienced this?

    I want to teach people C2 in a masterclass. The problem is that some of these people cannot use the full software. Having a 30 day free trial might make it easier for people to get exposed to C2.

    Any suggestions about how I can handle this issue?

    My name is John Bura. Some of you might know my work. I wrote a C2 book for Packt Publishing. I also have produced courses for Construct 2 on Udemy.com. On top of that I produced an XBOX 360 game as well as a ton of iOS, Android, PC and Mac games. Very soon my company Mammoth Interactive will host it's own HTML 5 arcade with the games that we produced with Construct 2.

    I have always been a huge C2 supporter and it is my favorite engine to use. I am letting you know about my KickStarter in which you will learn to build 100 games. The engines included are Unity2D, Construct2, Unity3D, SpriteKit for Xcode and Unity3D. In addition, if the KickStarter gets to 10k the total there will be a total of 60 game projects that you will get to make with C2.

    Im pretty excited about this as I love to make games and this gives me an opportunity to show people how to build games effectively.

  • That is very helpful. I have always found Cocoon JS to be helpful. Do you know if the ads show up in AdHoc builds or in the simulator?

  • Which exporter did you use?

  • Specifically when exporting with PhoneGap or Intel, you have to manage certificates. Silverforce did you manage to use the coon with UiWebView in xcode.

  • The workflow keeps changing. I used to use Ludei for all of my apps that I upload but now when I export to Cordova I just get a blank screen. What are you using to get on the app store?

  • I know how much work is involved. It would be great it this was in c2 or c3.

  • I know how much work this would be if it were to ever be implemented but when it comes to exporters Unity2D already has the backend all figured out.

    I know that making an exporter that would simply make a Unity2D file is possible, although it wouldn't be HTML 5 any more. Perhpas having the editor make HTML5 games and for mobile / desktop devices we can use Unity2D.

    That way, exporting would become almost a non issue for most devs as Unity2D can export almost anyhwere.

  • I think a unity2D plugin would be the best option. It would make exporting much less of a hassle.

  • I love the fact we can now use Ludei again to export. However, I just get a black screen when I export. I have tried all 3 options( canvans+ and webview etc).

    Has anybody else got this to work on their device? I want to export to iOS mostly.

    Just for the sake of argument, if I wanted to run it in UIWebView, how would I do it?
