    yeah this happen to me too and as far as I remember it happens to me from many versions ago! Ashley could be fixed in the next release or perhaps it is appropriate to report it as a bug?

    Without seeing either the Event sheet or a .capx, it's pretty well impossible to say.

    also we have to know if you are using global object/ persist behaviour or things like that, i don't think is a "start of layout" problem, maybe im wrong but.. best thing is always up a project file when we can reproduce the issue and edit it for you.

  • Image Editor in C3 has many new features, but none of those you mentioned.

    but sprite font dont display '%' ;/

    you can edite the spritefont on a character that you don't use, here i have edited the / into %, so if you have to call the % you have to type /

    I realize I have started using Construct2 at the "end of its days", however I do not think they are very significant features to implement, I was hoping it would be possible to add them easily.

    sorry to mention you Ashley (I think this fact is widely abused ) , there is some hope for slightly empowering the C2 sprite editor or not?

  • hello to you all, I use Construct 2 for a year, I think it would be very useful to add some features to the Sprite Editor to further enhance it.

    specifically what I'd really like to see implemented is:

    • a function for auto-dithering using the 2 selected colors.

    -a function for total change color in a click, for example if I have so many red-colored pixels, and I select black, by clicking on any of the red pixels, everything that is red automatically turns black.

    -a lazo selection

    • the ability to use multiple layers in the Sprite Editor, move and merge them.

    here are just some tips on how I would like it to be.

    maybe I'm wrong but I do not think they are very difficult things to implement, but with little you could greatly enhance the Sprite Editor.

    And you what do you think? What else would you add / change about it?

  • So i have a variable Time with a starting value of 30 and every 0.1 seconds it subtracts 0.1 and updates the text of a sprite font but there is a problem: every time the value hits an even number the text shows no decimals. I want the text to be like: 30.0 29.9 29.8 29.7 --> 29.1 29.0 Not like the way it is now: 30 29.9 29.8 29.7 --> 29.1 29

    I have tried all kinds of solutions that i can think of using zeropad(), find(), left(), right() and so on but nothing works.

    If someone have a confirmed working way to acheive this please share, it would be greatly appreciated!

    have you tried something like "Float" system expression?

  • Hi I'm Michael. I'm using Construct 2. I'm new to Construct 2. I've only had it for a week. I am trying to create a cut scene with a character talking explaining how to play the game. That would happen right after the loading screen. Example) 1# Intro) 2# Main menu) 3# Loading screen) 4# Cut scene) 5# Game) My main goal is to make the cut scene happen only once. So whenever the player exits the game and jumps back in the next day. It would take them to the Intro, Main menu then the Game. Instead of playing the cut scene over again each time they play the game. What I'm trying to say is how can I skip the Cut scene layout? I've looked everywhere. Is there anyone that could give me a beginners guide with pictures or whatever you could? I could really use some help Thanks <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

    you need to learn how to use local storage, then link to it a variable that you can use as condition to play your tutorial only first time.

    ahah thank you, im tring to hire a graphic on fiverr, but isnt' easy with low budget availability.. i open a kickstarter campaign but nobody want support a prototype, kicstarter nobody backe a project, ultimately work only as pre-sale

    i never had working on isometric game, but i think you have to edit Zorder of the objects (or differents layer to each one) to display them correctly
