  Need help with a basic math problem, the C� = A� + B�.

  I know C is 188, and both A and B are the same length, so I need an equation to figure out A.

  188=sqrt(2A�), how do I rearrange this equation to get A by it self?

  Construct is better designed than MMF2 in so many ways. Subevents, for each loops, changing display resolution at runtime, better zooming, better bilinear support, better alpha channel support, event sheets can be included within another sheet, you can "read" events you're not just looking at check boxes, that's just some off the top of my head.

  lucid, its probably because the hotspot was at the top left. Just had to add +23.5 to the X/Y of the first half of the compare, and remove the -23.5 from the second half of the compare.

  I want this white isometric tile to "snap" to the the background tile that the mouse is currently overlapping.

  Here is my current code:

  Which is obviously incorrect, since it will avoid the "inbetween" darker tiles. I tried comparing to see if "int(mouseX/23.5)" was an odd or even number then to position it accordinly, but that didn't work.

  Anyone have any ideas?

  This would be awesome, would no longer have to combine 2 actions (insert key with 0 value,then set to what you actually want) everytime to achieve what should be 1 action!

  Thanks, "text" effect helps with the opactiy issue, but it makes the text appear thinner (and "smart text" makes the text unreadable). So I'm not sure if that solves the problem unfortunately.

  I'm making a 640 x 480 game. At the start, I change display resolution to users desktop size (using sys info object). Then set zoom to "100 * (SysInfo.GetScreenHeight/480)", this means widescreen users will see more on the sides too. Though I'm using linear scaling.

  With "force own texture" enabled in layer properties, the layer's text opacity seems to be about 5% less than it should be. I have my text set to 100% opacity, and yet I get some colours showing up from the layer below through the text.
