  • This certainly looks like a nice concept. I hope you get a good visual artist since that will be a crucial factor in how the game breaks through. Mind sharing some game-play features in pictures with descriptions?

  • Now we are into something good here

By the way... I'm not sure if all the gray error signs I'm seeing are supposed to be pictures but there is a bunch of them in your posts. Also in your signature has one.

  • Now I see the swing and everything seems very good to me

I like how the head just flies away! How about a kill while moving?

  • First there was SimCity, then Sims, then a whole bunch of others and suddenly the GOAT appeared. Now we have a fox in the house. Nice I like all the ideas that have been presented so far. How about aging? Animals are not immortal. I got various numbers from google for red fox. Anything from 2 to 5 years in the wild it seems. Ending up killed and all that not-so-fun is the reason for wide variation of course.

For the sake of it let's say that our Fox would live 6 years and die of old age without illnesses. One day is one hour. That would mean that one game would give the player 2 190 hours to live as a fox before the Grim Animal Reaper would come to claim it's soul. That is a lot of hours...

Well, it is an idea not a final mechanic XP

  • The movement of the character is nicer in the new animation. The weapon though.. it seems like it just comes from the head of the target. There is no movement to the hit. If you get what I mean. In the first one I could see that now the weapon swings to the hit and then it leaves the victim. In the new one I don't see the ignition or the first swing that was in the first one.

  • Hmm, I wish I was a graphic designer so I could really help you out with more than just opinions =

I feel the thing why you are not satisfied with graphics is what they are. Boxes with thick edges. Plain, one color. The last example you made would be amazing with a background other than plain black. Starry sky? Rolling snow covered hills? I guess you are looking for a visual that seems more alive.

  • Going to Finland for Christmas - the real land of Santa. She's excited. 24th is the big day over here. At noon, Christmas peace is declared. In the old days one was punished harder for their crimes during Christmas season - for breaking the peace. Not sure if this still is the case. Then we watch the Snowman (the cartoon with Walking In The Air). Dad reads us the Nativity from the Bible, we visit the graves and head to Grand Ma's place where the family gathers. Christmas day we usually spend at my Dad's parent's place. The last day of Christmas is the 26th when we are just home and eat what we have left =D.

I'd say we have a very standard Finnish, christian Christmas =)

  • This is a very good looking one! Nice graphics. Even though the character is inspired by Lara, I'd recommend giving her different clothes. It would give the game more independent and unique value

    What is the game about?

  • You are most welcome! Just remember your priorities and keep the main thing the main thing. Things will fall into place with a little bit of thinking Happy drawing!

  • How about combining the first one you had with some swipe controls?

Press the sides to move from left to right. Swipe up for jump and to a direction in air for dash or a double tap on a side. Double swipe up for a double jump. Then there would be no worry of forcing a player to position fingers in an absolute place for control. Phone displays are very different in sizes so positioning button controls in portrait is not always the best way to go.

  • Jayjay I'll keep an eye on the game then

damainman I definitely see the need for a different engine. That game won't shine the way it could on C2.
