  • Totally looking forward to FFVII on PS4 too. I really hope it turns out good. They better be careful with that gem!

But yah, I really like most RPGs. Mostly for the story, not so much for the status/character growth hell that sometimes is connected to them. There are some that have done it well, some not so well. If there is a good story, I am sold! Other games rarely manage to keep my attention in them for too long. Unless there is a good story again.

  • The graphics look reeeeally neat! Good job there. I will try the game a bit later today. So I can say a bit more I like the sound of crafting here. There is a lot of expansion room for imaginative items.

  • The graphics look nice. It reminds me of some games from the late 90's early 2000's. Can't name any but seeing the video took me there What is the goal of the game? Is it just to survive or is there something more to it?

  • The game looks pretty neat! Something that didn't come exactly clear for me from this.. What is the quick synopsis of the game? In the dialogue in the beginning of the thread, a Malfunction?? was introduced. Just interested of hearing the stories in games

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

  • I've been playing the online version a good while now. I really like it. The only downside is the controls. Given that they surely are to some degree "realistic" for two dimensional space, but they are really difficult. I keep dying all the time Leaving that aside, I really liked playing the game. The visual is very very pleasing! Points for that!

  • You are very welcome! Oh, completely missed those. Good that they are there. Here is a couple of bonus suggestions if you will:

    • A higher drop limit
    • More object changes
    • Rotating in-air control
    • Horizontal in-air control
    • Magnet that pulls things together?
    • Turn x-number of objects into 1 big one

So there is a few. Happy creating!

  • The psychedelic background colors hurt my eyes but I managed to play a few rounds

  • Such a cool little game! I actually got stuck playing it for a good moment. Can't say I got too far - I guess I am not just a builder bee - but have you thought of rewarding players? Achievements, extra "life", more change possibilities etc. as they reach higher piles.

  • I liked the demo

  • Hmm, interesting approach Don't know if others feel the same, but more often than not, colors are strongly connected to what you are trying to achieve. What I mean is, someone might love electric blue over all other colors for some reason. That doesn't fit well to a historical medieval story that tries to be realistic. That is just me though.

Anyway! To actually answer your question.. I do have a few colors that I do like a lot. I can't really say favorite of any color, it is so context related to me. Crimson is one, passionate, strong, violent color. Various shades of natural green, peaceful, earthy, warm, somehow serene and calm.

Hope this helps a bit. If you don't mind, maybe sharing some info regarding your game? Setting especially since it is one of the most important things if not the most important thing when considering colors.

  • I just loved the initial idea and setting of the game. A middle aged man trying to escape his mother's basement was it? You could've implemented a opening "cutscene"(referencing to the original PS2 Max Payne) of him being fed up with his life, maybe seeing a commercial on TV that made him realize what possibilities there could be. Heroic? Everybody wants to save their own ***** right?

  • This one was a cool game. I loved the simplicity of it and the minor difference to other side scrolling shooters that I have played. Somehow my musicians mind really connected with the high-mid-low flying options. Now, I did not try if controlling with horizontal arrows was possible but I'd consider that a possibility. Having my had sideways felt very unergonomic. Despite that detail, a fun minigame
