  • Hello everyone!

I am currently in the market to purchase complete or near-complete projects with original ideas. No project is too small nor too large. Would also be interested in licensing a project for publishing on Wii U and/or OUYA if you are not interested in a straight sale. Please send me a PM with details of your project, along with an asking price. If you are a newer user that cannot send PM's, then please send inquiries to bossguy[at]rcmadiax[dot]com. Thanks for your time.

  • Anyone else figure out how to use our own graphics for the button? Or is this not supported yet?

    -Mike

  • Yeah you don't have to worry about having something ready. When I got called it was out of nowhere back in September when the program opened. I was so nervous that they weren't going to accept me because of my lack of experience, but they don't really care. Then less than 6 months later I released my first title, BLOK DROP U, on the eShop. Exciting times! Congrats and welcome!

  • Nutzaboutpoker that's not been our experience. We're releasing a game on Xbox One which will already be out on Windows 8, Windows Phone, iOS and Android.

"For those not in the know, the Xbox One parity clause means developers can only release their titles on Xbox One if they haven't already been released on other consoles first."

In your case it may be different since your developing for non-console devices.

Are you part of the IDmlt@Xbox Program? Or are you saying your releasing on Xbox One because of the whole universal app thing?

    -Mike

  • This is a start, but... Microsoft has to get rid of their silly policies when it comes to game publishing. The current requirements in place only let you publish your title under the IDgjc@Xbox program, and you must release your title at the same time or before the other versions if it is a multi-platform game. In my opinion these policies are very anti-indie. Plus Microsoft is being selective in who they let into the IDgjc@Xbox program, unlike Nintendo and Sony who are welcoming all with open arms (Sony with some legal requirements). Only time will tell how OPEN this program becomes...

  • I have a platforming game optimised for mobile.

Have it working on my android tablet/phone easily.

Artwork all done by me too, everything else except sound and a logo/name for game.

Would be nice to know how high you would be willing to pay for the full game rights/capx?

12 levels so far. Game easily setup so more levels can be input.

Has a gold star system for each level.

(Obv anyone else interested, pm me.)

Small test video of it working smoothly on my Nexus 7.

    Sent you a PM. <img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_e_smile.gif" alt=":)" title="Smile">

  • Hello Scirra Team,

I am running through the tutorial for publishing a universal app for Windows 8 devices and came across an issue that I am not sure how to handle. When running the Windows Phone 8.1 WVGA 4-inch with 512MB emulator, I get the following message:

    [quote:2ac00nhw]Unhandled exception at line 13795, column 5 in ms-appx://1da7e196-e55e-4700-9b9b-c0607e509057/c2runtime.js

0x8000ffff - JavaScript runtime error: Unexpected call to method or property access.

The moment before this pops up, my audio starts to crackle and everything freezes up. I don't have this issue when testing the game in Windows 8.1 for PC. Let me know if you need any additional information.

    Thanks in advance!

  • Hello all. I decided to do a little experiment to see how the games market is on the Chrome Web Store and ported my Wii U title over. Here is the link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/blok-drop/ihecoccamjcjnmhgdbofiflckmmjinco. If you get a chance, please check it out and I'll make sure to update the community in about a month on how sales are going.

  • Try Construct 3

Develop games in your browser. Powerful, performant & highly capable.

Try Now Construct 3 users don't see these ads
  • I have lucky enough to be chosen to beta test the course and it is a great one! I am a complete beginner that knew nothing about publishing outside of my experience with Wii U, and now I feel confident that I can take my business beyond supporting just one platform.

  • Hey everyone! I really hope someone can help me with an issue I am having.

    I have 2 sprites:

Sprite 1 is the body of a boss that uses "rotate" to move in a circle around the game board

Sprite 2 is an arm of the boss that needs to be "pinned" to the body of the boss(Sprite 1), while also using the "sine, horizontal/vertical" behavior to move forward and back.

    -----

The issue I am having is that Sprite 2 will NOT "sine, horizontal/vertical" when it is pinned to Sprite 1. If I unpin it, it works great, or if I use "sine, angle" it works great too(as I have done with other parts of the boss). But for some crazy reason, I can't get it to use the "sine, horizontal/vertical" behavior. I even tried using "sine, forward/back" but haven't had much luck. Is this something that is even possible for the sine behavior? Or is there another 3rd party plug-in that would help with the situation I am having.

Any help would be much appreciated!

  • We are trying to start a dialog, but dealing with these companies can often feel like shouting down a cave. If you are in touch with anyone at Sony or Microsoft, or run in to any reps at events, please hassle them for Construct 2 support on our behalf!

Maybe once a good amount of Wii U content is published, they will realize they are missing out on some unique content and come to you. I know, I know, one can dream right? Hehe.
