  • I followed the steps on microsoft help to change the Xbox live sandbox for my local PC and it seems to work. Just enable dev mode and device portal in developer settings and then change the sandbox in the browser.

    I did not try it with my Xbox in Dev mode yet. But you need to download the "Dev Mode Activation" app on your xbox. Just search for it in the xbox app store.

  • Hi. Can I use the Windows Store plugin features for my Xbox Creators Program games?

    Things like roaming storage to store data/settings for example. Did anyone test if this works?

    And how do the trials in Windows Store work? Does the store handle the trial and check if the x hours are over for your account and I just can use the condition "is trial" to check if it is in trial mode (to restrict features) or not or do I need additional "code" to make trial versions? Any help would be very much appreciated.

  • Hi. I finally could test my Xbox game in Visual Studio and log in to my test account via Xbox Live. But there seems to be no sign out action to swtich profiles on Xbox. I tried Sign in again but nothing seems to happen and no error message from the Xbox plugin appears. How can I sign out and sign in with another profile?

  • Still not working after trying a few different version numbers I found. (sdk download site, visual studio version info, latest version on Wikipedia)

    Its not listed in installed programs and I even searched the registry but could not find it yet.

    I updated to VS 15.4 and used the latest SDK version 10.0.15063.468 but it's not working.

    /update: after looking through some help pages I finally found you can set the target version via rightclick > settings and the suggested number was 10.0.15063.0 without the .468 at the end. I could finally start the preview but it was stuck at the C3 loading screen. I try to export again with 10.0.15063.0 now and see if it works.

    /update2: I could now run the preview. its showing the C2 loading icon (exported with C3) for about a minute at 10% and then it finally started the game.

    I could log in to my test account (Xbox Live) but it did not show the avatar in the sprite after getting profile info but I will add some debug info to see whats wrong. Its finally working to preview it in Visual Studio.

    I will try to work on my game soon and then see if I can publish it to Xbox.

  • Hi. Just wondered if it's possible to expand iap plugin beyond app stores so you could add things like expansions/dlc to builds for pc on stores like itch.io or gamejolt. Maybe with PayPal payments or something like that? Would be great to be able to use it outside of the app stores.

  • Thanks. I started the setup again and used the version shown but it does not work when I try to run it in debug mode. It says target version is not supported and does not like the version of the app itself. Created another topic about visual studio.

  • When I open the manifest with doubleclick the version has 3 digits to edit. Worked fine in the past with some apps i uploaded to the Win store.

    But I can try to open it in the editor and add .0 but it worked fine in c2 exports afaik. I Update the post later. Can't try it right now.

    1.0.1 is shown as version in the manifest file and I dont know why it causes an error. And for Win10 SDK Version I used the number shown in the Visual Studio Installer for Win10 UWP SDK 10.0.15063.0. Any ideas?

  • Did anyone already build apk's signed for the play store?

    How can I sign the files fast and easy? I used Intel XDK in the past and it had a simple window/wizard for it built in. Never signed them manually.

    Is it possible to do it in Visual Studio? It has some Android SDK/Plugins in the installer.
